I do have another question. We are going to install Pure Resonance Audio 4 zone mixer/amp. I had a plan of running a continuous loop of 18/6 to each speaker. Then I would have the option at all speaker locations to cut in 1 of 3 zones (if zone was not needed it would just loop through). Also, because this is 36 speakers, they may move the zones around in the office environment . This would make changing individual speakers to other zones more easy. I was wondering on the 18/6 if I should go shielded and if so would you keep the shield continuous to the end of the run (in the loops). Also would you connect the shield to the amps ground (g)? Finally would it be a good idea to ground the amp to the building steel frame or Elec ground (same as we do for our network racks). I know grounding is important, but I also know you can inject unwanted noise sometimes. I do like the way this mixer works. We plan on installing the mixer in the conf room. My idea is to put the conf room on zone 4. We would play white noise through the USB to zones 1-3 and then input audio from a laptop in the conference room to the mixer on another input and direct that input to zone 4 conference room speakers. It cool/crazy to have multiple inputs and outputs coming to/from the same device working together but separate. My last question is can you have white noise from the usb playing and then bluetooth your iphone to play music at the same time. I'm thinking not because the usb/bluetooth is a shared selected input.

This was a really good video, would like to see another video that would involve injecting white background noise for all zones
Hi Robert, Thanks for watching! That's a great idea! We'll see what we can do to make that happen.
Hi, will a wireless mic set still lower the music level on input one?
Hi there, Yes it would still function the same with a wireless microphone.
