Hi everyone yesterday we went to a country fair in Suffolk. We have never been there before and it was the sixth year of the show. Definitely be booking Phebe in next year. Thanks for watching 🤓👍
I had the 4 door version ('D' reg.) in the same 'Trafalgar Blue' colour. Simple motoring but always leaked oil. I went all the way to Paris on holiday in mine but used most of a 5 litre tin of oil. Tyre technology was poor in the 1960s. My Dad owned the car before me. In 1970 we drove 200+ miles on holiday. 3 of the four tyres gave out although only 4 years old. It was OK running around locally on short journeys at 30mph but high speed, high load and long distance just didn't work. Still had the feature of a starting handle. Useful on very cold winter mornings when the battery couldn't turn the engine over fast enough to start it. Had a sheet of hardboard down the front of the radiator to make the heater work better (the fan worked permanently even in the depth of winter).
Superb video! I used to own an A35 which is similar to the Morris Minor but now own a 20 year old Micra and a Modern Cooper. I love looking around the old classics and sometimes think about owning one but now with this new E10 Petrol - think I might hold on and see if someone comes up with a solution to the petrol problem. Super Unleaded E5 is not going to be around for ever but I will continue use E5 in the Micra and even in the Modern Cooper until they withdraw it from the forecourts. Was that a Bantam i spotted in the Intro because I use to own one of those too? Lovely Show! I have subscribed to your channel.
Hi thanks for watching and subscribe. Yes I'm hoping the the super unleaded will be available for some time. Strange enough I have been out on my Harley this morning and when I went to fill up all the pumps with super unleaded said not available. When I asked in garage he just said its run out every one wants it. The Bantam is a great little bike I used mine as a daily bike for couple of years never let me down. I Do not have it any more. I did have plenty of videos of her on my channel but it was deleted. Thanks for the comment 🤓👍
@@woowoo883classiccars I am not surprised that they ran out of the Super Unleaded it just goes to show that the E10 is just a device to get petrol cars off the road (of any vintage) and we the motoring public know it and are all on the same wavelength.Keep up your good work!
Just like lead free petrol all over again. I'm going you use super unleaded as long as I can find it. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment 🤓👍

What are you doing about the E10 petrol? Get her converted or hope for the best? Depending where you read, minors aren’t suited for it.
