- In this video we are doing a hack that enables us to use high bitrate on the OpenIPC Optimus AIO camera. This tutorial is part of the "road to high bitrate" tests. We can now have up to 25Mbps total bitrate that can produce amazing video quality, similar to DJI and Walksnail FPV systems. Here are the video tests with high bitrate so far:

OpenIPC SSC338Q-IMX415 can encode up to 120fps or 3K 30fps!

The system supports MAVLINK1 or MAVLINK2 bidirectional telemetry which makes it a complete solution for a quadcopter or fixed wing/VTOL. It also has WFB-ng link preinstalled and this means it has serious long range capabilities.

Tip; Tap n wipe your iron tip on damp kitchen sponge before tinning the tip, this ensures a fast, clean and immediate heat transfer to the solder joint, do this every few min and or before each weld.
Also flux can help a lot with desoldering and soldering! :)

You disconnect the onboard RTL8812AU and connect a module with the same RTL8812AU?
Yes, because the external rtl8812au is 2Watts. More powerful with much more range. Makes sense? Cheers mate!😊🍻

@@mariofpv So no matter the range, the temperature went up easily when bitrate setting is high. There is no settings for the output power of VTX like 20mw 200mw?
I’m desperately looking to buy an open ipc system. Ive been waiting for years for a cheaper and more open alternative to DJI. When will this and/or the Mario AIO be able to be purchased? I’m trying to be patient but it’s difficult😅 i want to try this so bad!
