@@mraquaticnews5676 the last two weeks it has been non stop. Every morning I take kids to school and work in fish room for 3-4 hours. Then to real life job. I enjoy it though so it's not really work. Bad thing is when I see fish I want I want to buy then all. Right now there is alot of fish I want hahaha

Your Brutus will become the dominant of the aquarium. Do you have snail shells because you raised conchylophilic cichlids from Lake Tanganyika? 39 Thumbs up from me;-)
Thanks for watching Marco!! Your right, he's very small and bites the big Oscars when they get too close and yes I had shell dwellers Neolamprologus Meleagris previously from Lake Tanganyika. I'll be transforming this tank back to a Tanganyikan aquarium. Are you an Ocean Biologist?
@@mraquaticnews5676 You did well the little conchophiles are at risk with the large South American cichlids. Yes my friend it is so I have been a marine biologist and aquarium enthusiast for more than 40 years.
@@MarcoIsidori Cool! Actually tank was shell dweller species only. After watching your livestreams it's obvious your very knowledgeable. You must have seen many things in the ocean that hobbyists don't see?
@@mraquaticnews5676 Yes, I have traveled a lot and dived in many reefs and seas as well as rivers and lakes. From Central America, Africa to Southeast Asia. When you see these fish and natural habitats you understand a lot by seeing the fish and their behaviors. I started when there was no digital age so I have a lot of non-digitized photographic and video material.

The twitching behavior of the male, while breeding, reminds me of the actions of a convict cichlid (Amatitlania nigrofasciata), when agitated.
