Probably the best and most researched breakdown of the situation I've seen thus far. I'm from Fresno and these cats were always in the No, or at the bare minimum, had a top tier rep available either downtown or off Ashlan somewhere, that I was aware of at least, as well as folks always stocking up the shelves at Tower, J&C and then FTK while they were in business up through the Fresno Uncensored days. There are some details involving the Romper Room that I think might be integral to part of the story, but I had no involvement with any of that so rumors aside, I have no business commenting on anything there. Really, really solid video though. Kudos on this one.

Growing up in Oakland and having my mom who is the same age as them she dealt with a few rappers and has said the rap game behind the scenes were very competitive. They would set each other up and drug their competition or make someone who is “next up” take a big hit and land in prison. It was all calculated to have certain people at the top and in my opinion all the best ones are dead or gone.

I can remember clear as day because I been a big Mac Dre fan since the time your talking about so it impacted me like a lot of people. 1- fat tone was found murdered with his homeboy in a new housing community being built in Vegas. Not in a garage or parking garage. 2. I can't remember how soon after. Maybe a day or a week at most. They discovered a car. Idk if it was the car used in the crime or not. I assumed it was. But it was found on fire right by I think the bridge to Vallejo which would be the small town of Maritime , which basically is unincorporated Vallejo. I so remember watching these things one after another just in awe n they caught Mac Minister right after that. I remember kinda being happy about somebody getting revenge for Mac Dre not knowing yet fat tone didn't do it most likely. I'm sure plenty others felt that way too just cause mac Dre was a boss n wasn't supposed to get touch. Overall his music had changed to positive vibes n while he was alive. The car was a white Sunfire and they found it next to a Safeway or a Rite Aid, I can't remember which one. There's one dude still alive, in the pen, and he told detectives in an interview but then decided he didn't want to officially tell in court. No one would have got anything except him getting the snitch jacket. Growing up in Oakland and having my mom who is the same age as them she dealt with a few rappers and has said the rap game behind the scenes were very competitive. They would set each other up and drug their competition or make someone who is “next up” take a big hit and land in prison. No one would have got anything except him getting the snitch jacket. Detectives involved in the case really feel some type of way about that bullshit but have accepted the fact there's no one left to punish.
