**We had the movie volume on the loudest that it could go on the site we watched it from so that is why it'll seem a bit lower than normal so NO complaints** **Also, if you hear what is the a/c humming in parts in the background it's because it is and there is nothing we can do about that (it's hot out and it runs and we do not live in a huge house so occasionally it can be heard)!. It DOES NOT take away from the reaction**
"I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen." Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Bebe Neuwirth Location Location Fact: The dojo featured in this movie was also used in The Karate Kid (1984). Cameos Cameos Fact: Director Cameron Crowe and wife Nancy Wilson as pedestrians in front of the mall as Lloyd (John Cusack) passes by them. Joan Cusack appears as Lloyd's sister. Lois Chiles shows up as Diane's (Ione Skye) mother. That's Hot Fact: Ione Skye has admitted on the film's audio commentary that there was definitely off-screen chemistry between her and John Cusack during filming, and that had they not been involved with other people at that time, they probably would have gone home together the day they shot the scene where Lloyd teaches Diane to drive a stick shift. Movie Magic Fact: During the iconic scene of Lloyd holding the boombox over his head, the actual song being played during the filming was reportedly Turn The Other Way (1986) by Fishbone. In Your Eyes (1986) by Peter Gabriel was added in post-production. Both actors in the famous boom box scene were filmed separately. Cusack held the boom box in the middle of a park in North Hollywood across from a 7-Eleven. Music Enthusiast Fact: Director Cameron Crowe couldn't find the love song he wanted until he heard In Your Eyes (1986) by Peter Gabriel. Gabriel asked to see part of the movie and Crowe had the production company send him an unfinished cut. Gabriel gave permission to use the song, saying he liked the film, but not the lead character overdosing at the end. Crowe realized that Gabriel had actually been sent a copy of Wired (1989).
Ione Skye is daughter of 60’s icon Donovan. I met Ione Skye at my video store in 2001. She was chewing her fingernails while talking on a mobile phone. I gave her a dirty look for being on the phone and she thought I was looking at her chewed up fingernails, and said, “I know, they’re disgusting”. Her cuticles were wrecked. She was tiny (granted, I’m 6’2) and did not do too much to make herself look presentable before leaving the house, which I admired. Alot of the Cusack character friends were really Cusack’s friends from Chicago and you’ll see both Jeremy Piven and Lili Taylor (the redhead girl) in other John Cusack movies.
Happy Tuesday Ladies,Hope You Had A Good St Patrick's Day ☘️,This Is One Of My All Time Favorite Movie's,Otis,My Mom's & Katy, Couldn't Be Here For This One,They Will See You Both At The Next One,Take Care
This and Better Off Dead (hilarious wacky comedy) and The Sure Thing (college-age anti-romcom romcom with good comedy) from the same time period, was a good run for John Cusack.
@@fjeresomereactionsThose were the most Cusackiest of years for him and us. Add Grosse Point Blank to the list after the 80’s hits, as that one is one of his most Cusackian.
Sidenote: John really did get into kickboxing and the people he mentions were real champions. He has trained with and been friends with one of those names since this movie and we get to see them do some nice fight choreography in Grosse Point Blank.

That is Eric Stoltz - he did this small part, while working as a PA on the film. He wanted to get experience behind the camera.
