The writers should definitely adapt that storyline. We need better writing from here on. Courtney needs to be hands on again. We need this show to continue to be great. Even though I was one of the people who liked the last season of Ghost. The writing was lackluster. It could have been better. Too many plot holes left unturned and senseless murders that went unchecked. I get it that the writers strike slowed things down. But this universe is great. It’s one the things I enjoy most in life. I love Power. I need it to continue to be great. Rant over. 😂

He said Monet was the only one to looked out for him. Lorenzo in jail or out of jail wouldn't have let any man hurt his kids. Did this happen before Monet met Lorenzo? Also Lorenzo went to jail for supposedly killing another Tejada. There were clips of Lorenzo's case files shown throughout the series. Did Monet kill who touched Cane and Lorenzo took the fall? Could this all be related? What's crazy is that if this was true that Tariq had a hand in Cane's real father's death. Rivalry reignited 😁 I like to pretend this is what really happened.
This makes sense because Monet is sneaky like that, and plus Monet hates the fact that Diana help get Lorenzo out of prison. Also Lorenzo told Cane don't you ever put you hands on my wife ever again instead of saying don't you ever put your hands your mother again.

It’s crazy cuz a lot of people believed Kannan killing Shawn was code for where 50’s relationship w Marquis had been heading. Then I heard a theory that Pop Smoke was 50’a son being his last name was Jackson and he favored 50 a lot and even sounded like him. The fact that Pop Smoke was playing when Cane shot it out w the cops might be a clue eluding tot hat. Regardless I’m realizing that Lorenzo really was a beta male. The miss boss move he did was having Cane get fucked yo by those security guards (which he got payback for later). Even in the flashback of young Monet and Lorenzo you see a dude more in the middle of Famous and Brayden’s street tier level than that of Tariq, Cane, or even a young Kannan.
I always believe we were seeing the story of Ghosts through the lives of Tariq, Cane and Brayden and Possibly either Diana playing the role of Tasha. I found it ironic that That Tariq befriended Brayden when seems allot like he would be a young Tommy and Cane’s demeanor is very similar to Kanan but I was sure Diana was a young Tasha and Lauren was Angela Tariq’s true love. But the deal was sealed when Zion referred to Brayden and called Tariq baby Ghosts or Ghost Jr ☹️
& didn’t Raq tell Kanan that she didn’t want to be a grandmother if I’m not mistaken so that’s possibly why and if this is true that she told Lorenzo that Cane is his son.

They saw him as the family muscle/soldier. I’m pretty sure when Lorenzo got locked up, Cane stepped up and became more deeply involved in the streets. If he was really Kanan’s son I think they would’ve revealed it in S4 (possibly through a flashback).

For those saying that Lorenzo didn’t see Cane as his son, this is simply not true. To a very short extent, he saw Cane as his son but he was always viewed as a soldier first and this is the same with Monet. Cane’s parents didn’t see him as anything else but a soldier because growing up he was always causing trouble and making reckless decisions based off emotion (this is why he got the nickname “Hurricane”). My belief is, Lorenzo didn’t want Cane to lead is because he saw a young version of himself in Cane. Lorenzo and Cane have some similarities (they both act off emotion). Dru was the best of both. Strong and strategic. S1-S2 Cane was only strong and not strategic. If Kanan was really Cane’s father I think it would’ve been revealed in book 2. Now that both Tejada parents have died it just doesn’t make sense to squeeze this theory into the story.
It's not over tho... There's still 2 more seasons of Raising Kanan, 1 more season of Force. Then Origins, and more spinoffs on the current timeline in the works.
If true, the writers have lost their creativity. Too easy to write the same story over using different characters. If they don’t give the fans something new, why watch? We can just rewatch Book II.
