Olive Flatbread, Fougasse recipe step by step

  • This bread is a real treat! it is easy to make and you can impress your friends and family with it!
    Let's go over the ingredients:
    1- Pre-fermentation step:
    165g water
    1tsp yeast
    165g bread flour
    2- Olive mixture:
    200g Olives (any kind you like and I prefer them chopped in smaller pieces)
    2tbs Olive oil
    1tsp dried/freshj herbs of your choice ( I added rosemary, lavender, and thyme)
    3- The dough:
    185g water
    310g Bread Folour
    25g whole wheat flour ( I forgot to add it in the video)
    Oven temp: 425F (220C)
    Time: 15mins or until the crust is the way you like ( technically the bake will be done sometime between 12-15 min and the rest is crust making :) )
