The Cleric has changed quite a bit over time. The added spells and their abilities are nice, reviving with a 3rd level spell wasn't around back in the day. Not a fan of the 70 hit point Heal, yea sure you get 10 more for more levels, but some Goliath Barbarian with a 20 Con, Feats, and some other physical booster is going to go "Gee Thanks", as you put his toenail back on. What about setting records? How can you claim you have the world biggest Heal when you put a throttle on it? I seem to recall there was quite a competition for that particular record, both for having someone who has whale-like hit points AND getting the opportunity to Heal for almost max.

They have certainly made changes to all the classes over the years.
