As someone from a really shitty part of Scotland...I can say that having a hammer close to you, is more necessary than you'd think! I've never used one to make food but sometimes you need tools like that close by! Sometimes it helps to have a hammer near by just in case a *"Nail"* is trying to steal from you or break into your house....

Old school Minesweeper like that is easy to run that fast. Unlike the more modern versions, you can use left mouse button to click the block away and the right mouse button to drop flags. Pressing both of the buttons will show how many blocks next to a cell there are and and if there are the correct number of flags next to it, it will clear all cells next to it with no flags. Easy speed clicking. She's not going all that fast.
