It would be interesting to see all of those test run with an insulated cover on - tell SetPower that your viewers are asking and they might throw one your way 🙂
I have a similar thing for emergency use and am quite impressed with its performance

Another thing to keep in mind - the dorm fridge models don’t hold near what their full capacity is, compared to the other units do. You’ll notice a LOT of empty space above whatever you put in there on the shelves. I’ve packed mine almost completely full, adding to the efficiency in both power and storage space.

I put my fridge items in Tuppawear (plastic food storage) so that they stack and take up that empty space

Awesome. I have two of these DC mini refrigerators set up for emergencies.

Nice to have plenty of options. My kids got me a portable ice maker which I’ve been wanting for a while. Nothing fancy but when the power is out in the summer it keeps you from running the refrigerator to make it more comfortable. I’d like to get my hands on one of those Coleman 12v chests. They use to be the way to go, but times change.

Those icemakers are cool. Runs on low wattage too.

@@TheBugOutLocation about 95W or 120V/95W= 1.26 Amps and spits out cubes every 9 minutes. Definitely easy on the power consumption so you can keep meat from spoiling.

You also have the option to turn off either side to save power if needed.

I have the PT35 and the left small bin, I have it set at 7° and it will NOT go down to 7°. It goes down to 9 or 10 and then even climbs up to 25° However, I put a temp gauge in there and it's staying at around 10 to 12 degrees. Anyway, mine may be defective?
