In this video, I take you guys along with me as I go through the Drugs and Alcohol abuse course, and take the test for that, Read the Florida Driving handbook, take the Drivers Exam, and go Pick up my drivers permit!!
This video is more about Tips and my experience going though this milestone including the time line of when I did everything needed to get my permit.

That video is divided into 3 parts:
1. What you need to do to get your Drivers Permit (an explanation of everything you need to have done to be able to pick up your permit + what you can do as a 15 year old with a Drivers Permit)
2. How do get your Drivers Permit (Websites that I liked and didn’t like that you can take the Alcohol and Drugs abuse test + the Drivers Exam, also all the paperwork that you need to do and bring to the DMV to pick up ur Drivers Permit)
3. Tips!! (Things I wish I knew before doing all of this, things to help make your experience less stressful, and how to get a Drivers Permit fast ;) )

I remembered taking my 1st permit to learn to drive a car. I studying the first 3 chapters of this booklet from DMV. A gal in front of me gotten 7 wrong on the test. My heart started beating that I got 4 wrong. I was 16 years old back in 1986. I did taken a few tests for the permit. I finally gotten my driver’s license in mid December 1999 when I was 29 years old. It was my 2nd one for my driver’s license. I failed once in mid November 1999. I have been driving for a little bit over 23 years.
Congrats!! I just passed my drug course 2 days ago and passed online yesterday 😊 On Monday I’ll be getting my permit!!! I’m so excited. Safe driving for us both new drivers

Congrats girl! I am getting driving lessons again in two or three weeks. I am a forty year old new driver. I have an exam permit. I reside in NJ. I hope to pass my road test on the third attempt. I know even if I barely pass I get to upgrade to a provisional driver's license.
I passed my road test on March 16 of last year I just got my regular License on March 16 of this year, never give up on the road test because the road test is a big deal

Hey! Getting my permit card tomorrow, did they ask questions from the written test or you just show all your documents and that’s all?
@@shairafasomingo7724 when I went, all they asked for was my legal documents, height, and if I have bad eyesight took any drugs and stuff like that, than they had me do the eyesight test, and than I had to pay like 55$, but that’s all, they didn’t ask me any questions from the test or anything

Did you take notes on the entire driver handbook, what do u think were the most important sections?

So when you get you print out you’re papers from national highway safety administration, you just need to take a vision test and show you’re certification of completion to the worker. That’s it?
Can you give us an example what was the trick question
how would i start off making notes from the handbook? also can the back of the handbook questions help wit studying for your permit test?
Is the practice test and the real test almost the same questions and do you need to take the drug and alcohol again if you fail it?
yes they are pretty much the same questions and no u don’t have to retake the course if you fail

I'm 16 turning 17, the country my parents moved to...I hate it, I'm not waiting until 18 to get a driver's license. I wanna move to the US to get one

I have 2 questions. When we get a permit, do we have to do a driving test like with a person next to you telling you what to do inside a car? And what if you don’t have the best eye vision? Like i can see but most definitely need glasses to see a bit better. Will not passing the eye test stop me from getting my permit?
When you get a permit you do not do a driving test, that’s for when you get your license (only available at 16 and a year after you’ve had your permit). Also about the eye exam don’t worry! I have glasses too and they didn’t even do the eye exam at the dmv 🤷♀️

Hey I have a question so I passed the alcohol test and the final test I passed both so do I have to show up to the DMV and do they need to do a eye exam because I can barely see far away which does that mean I can’t have my permit anymore? because of my terrible vision and I don’t wear my glasses at all sometimes can I still get my permit?
At my DMV they didn’t do an eye exam and I didn’t have to bring a certificate that I had done one, I’d check maybe that specific DMV

Hey so I live in California I’m currently 19 trying to get my permit :( And I’ve came across your video and seen the website you took but I’m kinda confused.. would I be able to take this drivers Ed Say I pass , I just show it to my Local DMV and then I’ll get my permit right then in there ?!
hello! since you’re in california it’s much more different. since you’re 19 you don’t have to do the drivers ed online you can just go to your local dmv and take your permit test ! you are not required to take the course online :)
Which car are you getting
i did the full course online on the same website and passed all did u need an appointment for the dmv or did you just show up?
I needed an appointment because at the time that is what was required, I would check again since it’s always changing

I have not got my permit I keep getting close I’m 16
