We both can't forget that there's an army of women fighting this fight to bring justice for ourselves and our sisters in a world built to traumatize us. Yeah I can't say anything other than good girl for doing all you can I'm proud and grateful you're out there fighting for us as well as yourself❤️
      Honestly I'm a bit triggered from watching, I was 17 for my most violent assault. Hopefully I said my words right and the message is clear, so many are out there making the little headway that will lead to big changes, it has to. We support eachother out here. Also from Australia.

    I can’t believe the police let them go after abducting and abusing a 19 year-old girl, like couldn’t they have taken her to a hospital to check for abuse signs to confirm that she was telling the truth? And wouldn’t they get in trouble for selling drugs? With everything they’ve done, it’s truly horrifying how they got away with all of it for so long.

    You should definitely cover the Alcasser girls murders, it was the first and most mediatized murder case in Spain (1992) and it was wild. The autopsy pictures of the remainings of those poor girls were made public and it was so outrageously inappropriate. Every show was milking the tragedy, the victim's parents were on TV all the time too, it got out of hand. There is so much to talk about, so much information and many theories. You could also cover Marta del Castillo's case.

    My birthday is October 11, 1980. Just hearing how incredibly close to my own age Lauren was is heartbreaking The entire story is heartbreaking, but really hits harder when it's an older case and the one of the people are in your age group. Poor girl should be turning 40 this year, not forever 14. Same for Nicole, she should be 42 like me for this year and not forever 17. I truly hope they have both found peace.

    I will NEVER understand what I personally see as such light punishments that are handed down in Canada, Europe, Australia…how does life (TWICE) mean “parole in 35 years”? Here in the US, and specifically in Florida and Texas, guys that commit crimes like those would get the needle in some states and life would mean LIFE. As in..when you stop breathing and your heart permanently stops beating. That is life! These kind of monsters deserve nothing less than a literal life sentence if not the death sentence.

    • @simoneward4217
      @simoneward4217 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I agree with you. Everything you have just said, I feel the same. Why call it life when it's not life, it's 25 years or whatever. The UK are the same. I love the way the US actually hand out mostly appropriate sentences. As you said, Canada, Australia, Europe and the UK are too soft. The tragedy is that crimes can be prevented such as this one, had these thugs been behind bars where they belong this crime would not have occured. I really feel some people can never be rehabilitated and will always be a threat to the community. Those people should never be released. Their personal rights should be overriden by the community's right to safety.

This is by far the most hideous case I’ve ever heard of. How the families must have felt hearing the gruesome details of the murders doesn’t bear thinking about.
