वहीदा रहमान (Waheeda Rehman) को आज दादा साहेब फाल्‍के पुरस्‍कार (Dadasaheb Phalke Award) दिए जाने की घोषणा की गई. सच तो ये है कि पिछले कई सालों से उनका नाम आ रहा था, यह एक पूरे युग का सम्‍मान है. सम्‍मानों के साथ वहीदा रहमान का रिश्‍ता बहुत पुराना है. साल 1965 में उन्‍हें पहली बार गाइड के लिए पहली बार फिल्‍म फेयर अवॉर्ड मिला था.
