Sadly, the people with out of control dogs ard generally those who wouldn't care even if made aware of the deer's plight. Very few dogs are trained properly nowadays.😔
Hi, it was quite by chance that this happened in front of my gopro while I was filming a winter walk. Obviously, the deer and the dog weren't very clear but the video did make a point. Thanks for watching the vid and best wishes for 2024! Rob
Totally agree with you, Rob! It's really sad to see situation like this one. Wishing you and your family too a Merry and Blessed Christmas filled of love and joy in your hearts, my friend! Renata
It is always sad to see such scenes but so many people let their dogs run freely in forests, in Poland too. Also there are homeless dogs too. Anyway, Happy Christmas to you and your family dear Rob and all the best in New Year! Anita
Hi Anita, yes it is sad and all too common, unfortunately. Some dogs are homeless, of course but that one isn't - I found out who owns it. Happy Christmas and best wishes, Rob 🎄
This was really sad and very annoying Rod, it's just so bad when dog owners let their dogs run wild in places like this, it's the same here in North Wales, dogs like this scaring sheep. Hope you have a,wonderful Christmas ~ Anna 🎄👍
Hi Rob !! Ya sadly common place especially in the deer rut ! , totally agree with your comments!! Have a great Xmas my friend & good luck for 2024 👍👍🎥🎥
Hi Craig, yes, it is awful that some dog owners just don't care. I wouldn't have been so surprised to see the running deer if it was during the rut, but it wasn't. Thanks for watching and Happy Christmas! 🎄🎄 Rob
Some people are so inconsiderate and I remember my brother telling me of a farmer shooting a dog which was chasing his pregnant sheep, yet the owner was threating him with both violence and prosecution. Poor deer and the dog knows no better, it is the owner who should know better, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, it was quite by chance that this happened in front of my gopro while I was filming a winter walk. Obviously, the deer and the dog weren't very clear but the video did make a point. Thanks for watching my vids, Alan and best wishes for 2024! Rob
Dreadful Rob. That deer probably was very stressed for many hours! Idiots who let their dogs loose like that should be prosecuted. We have a lovely Country Park here attached to a Nature Reserve (lots of NO DOGS signs and please keep your Dog Under close control) Yesterday an old couple had no idea where their dog was - because it was running around in the Nature Reserve. Plus the old bloke was shouting at the top of his voice to try and get it to come back. Talk about a peaceful walk out in nature. Just beggars belief!!
Hi Paul, it was quite by chance that this happened in front of my gopro while I was filming a winter walk. Obviously, the deer and the dog weren't very clear but the video did make a point, as you say. I have posted this on Nextdoor and promoted it on Facebook and it's got quite a few views (for my channel, anyway. Lot's of people wouldn't get out of bed for 1,800 views) 😂 Best wishes, Rob
Please share this video - thanks!

Yes, I agree, it is sad. Some dog owners just don't care. Thanks for watching and Happy Christmas! 🎄🎄 Rob
@LivinginTheNewForest Happy Christmas to you and your family too Rob ❤️ 😊
Like! Beautiful place! Lovely deer! Yeah, I agree! They should let the deer roam free. Indeed, injuries could easily happen.

Oh.dear
Oh dear indeed. The poor deer escaped though and was, as far as I could tell, unharmed.
All ended well
Yeah that’s pretty upsetting and annoying anyone who lets their dog chase a deer. Very stressful to the deer.

Rob what an excellent video! An important lesson for us all. Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul :) #moderndaybreakfastclub
