    Thanks very much for making this. I didn't have a clue what they were used for and now I have 4!

    Thanks soo much, took me several tries but finally got it it too work, had to remove the old power cells first😣, it kept saying 1/2 no matter where I had them.. newbie’s don’t forget you can trade a stack(999) of stone for wood for free!! Once per day at A&G!! I didn’t know had to watch tips&tricks 1/24

    Thank you! We are playing through the Nintendo Switch version and just built the generator but was a little confused on how to make it all work. Very nice video that explained everything! Back to building! :)

    THANK YOU! I couldn't figure this out. I thought you could add fuel sources the same way you add wood to a crafting station. I didn't realize you had to have them selected in the hotkey bar.

    Ahhh that’s what its forI thought it was just another furnace to make the stuff as all other furnaces before do lol. You explained well, as well. Good and simple video.

    Wow, really useful. I'm deciding if I should make it, and I know my answer now :)
    Ps. I just notice how you have lots of planting square when I don't even have one but 10 of furnaces and lots of other machines. So still me that don't even realize how useful this is lol

    I´m not sure if the game explains this kind of things but I didn´t understand how to make this work ... I thought of waiting until the game explains but I search on google and look your video... Awesome this Power Generator is very useful!! is preferable usage only for 2 machines but I will prioritize the build of this generator for all my machines... I think the game will be some break after this but I hope not...
    This game is beautiful and so fun... I played around 50 hours and still so addictive as the beginning ... so glad of buy it

    Hi I just started this game about a week ago and I'm really confused about how to add wood to fuel a generator that I'm trying to build the very first one, or maybe it's the stone furnace I don't remember sorry I'm totally new to this game, I've been looking at wikis and watching videos and everything else like that, thank you in advance!

  • @lunarshinx
    @lunarshinx 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Is regular wood the better to fuel it with for a day or are there better fueling items to make it last more than one day? Great vid also. Ill have to grind materials and reconfig my setup to get all this going ^.^ lol like your workshop setup too!

    • @fadedskye
      @fadedskye  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you :) The generator currently always caps at 1d and 10 hours of fuel regardless of what fuel you use, but different items add different amounts of fuel. For example: Regular wood adds 4 hours, Hardwood adds 8 hours and Ironwood adds 12 hour.

      FadedSkye okay and i havent tried farming yet but is the farming worth it by chance since the game is focused around a workshop?

    • @fadedskye
      @fadedskye  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The farming is still really early into development, but there are uses for almost anything you can grow. For example, rainbow flowers can be turned into pigment which you can use to color items and make rugs for your home. There are also a lot of cooking recipes that restore health, stamina or buff attack and defense that require crops (for instance, pumpkin steamed rice requires pumpkins). Or you can grow wheat which you can turn into flour which can be used as fish food.

      FadedSkye yeah i feel like til the mxt big update fpr story hopefully fpr the deset since theres stuff over there that would require storyline, i think ill grind and get materials ready for stuff redo workshop and reorder chests .. only thing is not everything stacks to 500 like the notes say they do so.. and hope they have lvl 3 home and station .. maybe even lvl 4s due to the landspace since i think it goes up 300k in price for right now lol

    Was so confused on y i made these put them down and started them and was lost on y it took 14 days instead of 2 for making stuff but also i could be wrong but one gen can power multiple things it just loses effectiveness

    its a shame they have to be oriented like that. it takes up a lot of space laterally

  • @SimilakChild
    @SimilakChild 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Kinda useless because some of the high tier machines can run for 5 ~ 10 days instead of just 1 ~ 2 days

    • @fadedskye
      @fadedskye  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have to disagree. While that is true, the fire powered generator allows you power multiple machines without ever consuming a single power stone or piece of wood. You can power all of your machines using any material, even with just basic rock. Also the amount of days it is powered for is depend on the material. Should you choose to use Iron Wood, the generator will power the machines for 8 days.

    • @elmondo-s1e
      @elmondo-s1e 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, depending on how your game turns out, early on when you get access to this generator you don’t necessarily have “high tier machines” yet so. Not even close to useless.

    • @TheArnyxx
      @TheArnyxx 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I strongly disagree. Grinding for Power stone is a pain in the ass. Hours of mining , by luck u come across a chest and bang ! Chest contains some shitty relic not a single power stone. I find the generator very useful.

    • @DiegoJacomussi
      @DiegoJacomussi 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have to agree with you. I don’t find power stones and condensed power stones hard to get at all, plus I feel like I can just build other machines with all the materials the generator needs. I came to watch the video and see how they work, turns out I’m not missing anything.

    Its not working wth

  • @sephinarose420
    @sephinarose420 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Update .. You can use power stones which give a day and condense power stones which give longer.. not sure at this moment.
