To paraphrase John Travolta “$66 coffee … with no bourbon or nothin’?” But it seems the value is there. Looks like another fun experience.

Haha that’s amazing. Yeah I totally agree. As soon as I ordered and the service began, it felt right. The passion and craftsmanship is there.

I am totally obsessed with unique coffee roasts however I had no idea the shape of a cup would have an impact on the color and aroma. The entire experience looked amazing. Thank you for the opportunity to experience Simple Kaffe. Your story telling mad me feel like I was there.

I love videos that take us not only somewhere rare, but somewhere I would have never considered. Can't say I'd ever bring my laptop into a place like this and casually write my screenplay, and I highly doubt they have a punch card discount policy, but thanks for that rare glimpse of something totally cool.

Haha! Probably no to the punch card, but you never know! I appreciate you watching, and also for the thoughtful comments, Glenn.

That area you visited used to be a prison and prison guard dormitory when Taiwan was under the Japanese colonial rule. The city government revived it recently as a site of historical significance and a destination for sightseeing. I have not been there myself, and I will definitely pay a visit the next time when I’m in Taipei. Thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks, John! That’s such a fascinating piece of history. The city has done a really nice job with the area, too. It’s a cool place to walk around and explore.

Now I know that coffee will have different flavors because of different containers! What a special experience!
Since you’re in Taiwan, I would like to recommend you to participate in The Baishatun Mazu Pilgrimage.
You can feel the enthusiasm of Taiwanese for faith. Once a year, it is currently being held!

Hey!! That's amazing, I'll have to look that up. Is there any place in particular you recommend checking it out? Thanks so much for watching. :)

@@thebuccilist There are so many to recommend to you. Before the lantern fair is over, you can go to the Kaohsiung Lantern Festival first, and then slowly go to other attractions.
You can climb mountains and trace streams, and there are many strange temples to visit (Lugang Glass Temple, Changhua Shell Temple, Yunlin Temple with Maze), depending on your journey planning and preferences.
The most important thing is to leave Taipei to explore when you have time😊
