Love this video and thank you for no using just music. Explaining what we see does help to understand the content. Hopefully you have a video of remote areas to live in Maine. We just don't want to be near tourist town.

This is a really well done video. I live in Maine and you captured many of the wonderful things about living here. I'm sad that this video doesn't have more views! Thanks again and we love to have new people visit and maybe even end up staying here.

Thanks for the vid! Been watching a lot of Maine videos lately. I heard in some of them that the term Downeast is for the area near Washington county and surrounding parts.

Washington county is called the bold coast. The bold coast is part of downeast, which is coastal Maine.

Thinking of moving to maine in 4-5 years, where’s the best place to buy a house near nature but like not 3 hours from town lol

I moved to Augusta in late 2019. I've found it to be a great city to live in. I come from a city the around the size of Portland but, in Louisiana. Augusta is much smaller however large enough to have most of your staple chain stores, it's the capital which makes legal stuff way easier, and the best part, it's in a very central location for exploring most of the state. I've loved it.

@@bladefinger651 okay great thank you. How’s the work around there ? Decent?

@@benbrumbley181 plenty of available work. The video definitely hit the nail on the head, medical field is by far the biggest employer it seems. Plenty of open jobs depending on your background. I had a retail background and got lucky with a medicinal cannabis dispensary. Wages are better than most places imo. Cost of living in Augusta definitely isn't all too bad. If you're buying a house, be prepared to see a lot of really old homes.

Not 100% true on Oct 1 in Bar Harbor. We went in mid October, when it is beautiful there by the way, and most everything was still open.
