    Good review, Muc-off is my go to cleaner. When I've finished I then spray over the engine and electrics under the tank with Auto Glym vinyl and rubber care....it drips off in a milky liquid and you think what have I done, but it protects and dries to a showroom finish. It actually says on the product you can do this, but not many people realise. If I only have time for a hose down I get the leaf blower and dry the bike. One thing I really don't like is the trend for 'dull' finished black wheels....it's as though the wheels have no bearing on the aesthetics of the bike. The wheels on my Tenere were awful...I had them painted and rebuilt with stainless spokes and it transformed the bike. Looking forward to seeing more of your Scrambler! Cheers, Steve

      @Stephen Eldridge Thanks, I looked up Auto Glym vinyl care and it says: "6.2. Environmental precautions Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be reported immediately to the Environmental Agency or other appropriate regulatory body. Avoid discharge into drains or watercourses or onto the ground." I get my water from a well, and my garage drain goes in the environment, so I'm careful with what products I use and send down the drain, this would not meet these requirements even if I'm sure it works great :)

      @@Speedytrip Thanks for pointing that out.....it hadn't occurred to me that it was non biodegradable!. I use it with the bike on the garage floor and a piece of cardboard underneath. We grow a lot of our own fruit and vegetables organically so I'm usually on the ball re chemicals!!!. Cheers, Steve

    Automotive truck wash, Put through a pressure washer, or dialute 50 / 50. Can buy it from most motor factors.

      Thanks for the suggestion, but 150$ for a gallon of each + shipping to Canada would make it pretty expensive compared to even Motul moto wash :)

    • @RubricoA.
      @RubricoA. วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Speedytrip expensive, but do a review if you're planning to buy them. It really works on a vehicle but I want to see if it can also clean on the engine and exhaust especially when the dirt and grime is dried out from the heat of the engine.

    • @Speedytrip

      @@RubricoA. I will review if I give them a try. So far, Motul moto wash has been the most effective on dirty engine/exhausts, requires the less brushing...but not exactly cheap either. Muck-off works great and more affordable, you just need to brush off the dirtier areas a bit to help.

    Hi, can I just check if you have had any metal corrosion on your scrambler, especially with the road conditions you ride in?

    • @Speedytrip
      @Speedytrip  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mark Daws I sold the bike after only 3 months it was still in mint condition. When I did ride in bad conditions I would always rinse the bike with cold water after. Never had corrosion issues on any of the 20+ bikes Ive owned (including 2 Africa Twins that have a know issue with corrosion on some units).

      @@Speedytrip I see you sold it because of the devaluation of getting it dirty. My advice get an older, cheaper bike and enjoy it. Alternatively by a ornament.

    • @Speedytrip
      @Speedytrip  ปีที่แล้ว

      @QWANA THOMAS No, I sold it because I didn’t like it :) I now have a DR650 and prefer it to the Scrambler in every single way, even touring! I was never afraid of getting a bike dirty, but cleaning it once in a while allows to go over the bike which is something everyone should do.
