Bridget St. John's verison of Fly is stunning.. sad that there are known videos of Nick Drake performing in concert and I often wonder if Sandy Denny and Nick Drake met in person or influenced one another (Fairport Convention had Nick Drake open for them in one year so it is possible they met but it is never discussed in various bios I have seen on Drake and Denny).. it is also possible I saw Bridget perform in the Villiage in the mid-70s at Bottom Line, Bitter End and Kenny Castaways. Very powerful performance of the great Drake cover. I think of Karen Dalton also when hearing Bridget's voice.

I too have wondered about Sandy and Nick. Bridget and Nick were friends. She felt him a kindred spirit in many ways.
