I agree with your reasoning. The full green all the way to the tip is awesome. I have a Surge and it does well at night under the black light. But the Mad Katz Bolt is the one for glowability. Is that even a word? It is the highlighter yellow color. Also got to see Uncle Josh's new Uncle Lou's rod in action. That looks awesome under the black light as well.
One day I’ll test all the yellow rods. I went with green this time because I already had 3 green rods.

the white tips on the slimecats charge in the direct light and glow in the dark by themselves. but I like the TWC rod myself also..

I like the uncle Lou’s rods brightness and I tried to get a couple of them. But wasn’t able to get through to them.
Have you checked out the MadKats Panther rod yet? It’s fluorescent blue and when you have blue LED lights or UV lights on them they look like a lightning bolt rod. I have two of them now and I just purchased two more yesterday. Check them out

Honestly I've owned both Slimecat and Madkatz and i love my Madkatz and either sold or broke the Slimecat rods. I'm a big part of how Madkatz came up with a larger variety of glowing rod colors, i had pitched a brilliant idea to Slimecat about creating more colors after the Sunset edition was thought up then created a poll on the FB page asking folks if they wanted to see a variety of different glowing rod styles then next thing we all know Justin slept on the idea and Madkatz had their prostaff looking at my poll and they almost perfected my Pink catfish rod idea 😁

Kevin, great test. I was looking hard at the hellcat rod over the TWC rods but after this I am going to go with the TWCs. The TWCs just shine brighter, no question. You can't argue the quality of either one really. And the TWC are about $30 less per rod too! Thank you!

They do have a decent color. The tip glows in the dark but make sure you get it charged with sunlight.

David, the uncle lou's rod has a glow tip, I go over it closer to the end of the video. The Slime cat tip also glows a little.
Slim cat tip glows if set in the sun or hit with a light just a FYI.

Ugly Stick Gx2 for spinning, you can get a combo from walmart for around $50. Really, any of the walmart combos will do you just fine for under $50. I would start there. Thanks for watching!!

Mad Katz Catfish Down rods in green has no white tip. It's green all the way to the tip. Basically like the Surge rod minus the white tip.

Madkatz rods with the tips being clear up top like that, can glow at night without black light. Just charge it with a flash light and the tips will glow without black light.

I just bought two of those green heavy action Hellcats. Bro, I have three other glow rods, but I swear to god this one glows in daylight. Hit that hellcat rod with a bright light and then put it in a dark room. It'll look like it's hooked up to a damn light. I think its still cool what you showed tho bro. I like how you could tellt the quality in color with the black light.
I wasn't trying to be a Karen either buddy. I liked the video, you did a good job budro. I was just throwing you a bone on lights. The only reason I know the difference scientifically is because I own a reef tank. All the black light does is illuminate fluorescents.. I wish coral glowed tho lol that would be dope lol lol
