About VELÜR:
Velür is Ukrainian disco-wave band that combines dance disco rhythms with lyrical melodies and heartfelt lyrics. This is nostalgia for the sound of the 80s in modern interpretation.
The group was formed in 2021 in Ukraine as a duet of multi-instrumentalist and sound producer Alex and songwriter and singer Valeria.
But in the spring of 2022 it was decided to move to Germany because of the war.
In a foreign country without acquaintances and friends, without knowledge of language it was difficult to start everything from the beginning.
However, in 5 months 18 new songs were written for 60 minutes of performance, 15 concerts were played in Germany and the Netherlands, a professional live-video was shot, and a full-length album was recorded.
