*Knowing surfers and their determination to surf with sharks and after the rain it surprises me no one was out the next day. Those empty waves look too good to pass up! I guess the camera doesn't always do it justice though 💨🔥*
Back in Oct. '78 my friend and I were bouncing back and forth between Zeros and County Line surfing. A fire came over the mountains. Instead of getting the hell out, we kept surfing. By the time we figured out how stupid we were, the fire was across PCH in both directions. I had to literally plow through a fire tornado to escape to the North and return to Thousand Oaks via Oxnard. The destruction was heartbreaking. And, today's destruction is heart breaking.
Sorry, I couldn't watch this until now. Here in MA, we were watching the nat'l news when the PacPal fire broke out that morning and people were trying to escape down Palisades Dr. It was surreal, also just too heartbreaking and upsetting, though I do realize life goes on, the waves keep on coming and the dolphins jumping. Prayers for everyone there, We💙LA.
Yup. Wildfires are bad and toxic enough, this was all residential homes and buildings lots of plastic, rubber and who know what else. That’s some toxic smoke to inhale.
I was walking down the beach at NYC Quick pro 2011 with my dad the night before the comp just checking out the beach. Totally dark no one around then we came upon this crowd next to a jetty and out of the water comes Slater and his friend/caddy. I forget his name, Stehpen? Any way it was like 930 pm pitch black. Slater Hour.
i usually love Brad's vids and I kind of agree honestly. it's a little bit tone deaf. I realize the world keeps turning and people will surf regardless but I think posting and making surf content so close to a crisis area/natural disaster where so many folks lost homes is lame.

Great coverage. Humbling, from Florida. God bless.
there's noway the water is safe to surf today and moving forward with all the radioactive debris etc does anyone know or have an update on this?
Does this mean they're going to stop stealing/snaking waves from each other?
it just asking for trouble ingesting poison into the lungs.
Because if we didn't try to surf the air would be just fine, right?

Ross Williams maybe.
This is pretty ignorant and lame honestly
Yeah, totally tone-deaf channel. Boooo all around :(
Unsubscribed :(
How so?
Saying that surfing is "ignorant and lame" is a bit ironic.
