I love these, very wearable sneaker especially in time for the fall. Hit at my local and skated thru my pair. They served their purpose, currently skating the Be True’s. But dunks are my go to shoe for skating, it’s all I skate.
Yes, especially this pair. Compared to my Parra Abstract, Classic Green or Celadons, this pair has less padding for sure. Also, because they dropped the chunks of Nike ReGrind into the normal midsole foam on this model, it made the overall shoe sole much stiffer than other models.
I actually think they look more like Reese Forbes Hunter SB lows, at least for me they give me those vibes. They just released here in Chile, and I'm thinking about getting a pair, because they are sitting for now actually.
Just an fyi, the next 6-12 months will be the best time to buy sneakers/grails ever. There will be a deep global recession that will last about a year once it hits, so resell value is going to tank on most pairs especially SBs since the dunk hype is dying. Especially pairs low on the radar like crushed dc, why so sad, skate like a girl and neckface. Should be able to get those at retail price or just slightly above retail on the secondary market. Resell game def going to crash hard in the next 1-2 years. But in more like 5 years all these pairs will be back in the $500-$1000 range once the hype goes back up and people are financially secure again. Also stating the obvious but in addition to sneakers, it will be the best time to buy stocks and crypto at the dip (just ETH and bitcoin the rest have 0 actual value)
Sean your sizing advice is the best and I always learn something. About the crushed toeboxes, about 1/2 of my recent SB dunk lows have had it so bad the actual sole is deformed on the right and blunted flat, left is round. Can't be just coincidence I think they have an issue.

That is sooo much money! ): I am still thinking about getting them because i really like the concept with the marble inspired colours and the skateshop collabo. The colours are a blast and the marble swoosh caught me as a skateboard veteran! (:

Sbs are always better than the regular dunks cuz of it's materials. These are dope

Anyone notice that SB tongues are less padded making them fit larger recently, or is it just me?

Wasn't big on these at first, but I do like the diamond perforation pattern in the tongue.

Been using Hefe Lux in my SB’s and it def provides a more comfortable fit from front to back..
