You fished in exactly the same mark as I did last week, easier to walk behind the reed beds along the SW coast path till you get to the gate. I didn't catch any sole either but had a few plaice and I managed to avoid the strap congers
Hi Luke yes at low water I walk the beach as its sandy, at high I walk the path. I wanted to go further but there was people on it. I will be back mate
Many years ago I caught a sole from the East arm of West Bay harbour before its update. Then a few years later I had another from the West Arm. These are the only fish I caught down there.
Hello mate nice brace of conger there I'm looking to get down to Chesil travelling from Essex are there any good marks I can take my disabled partner along she rides a disabked scooter and can't walk too far
Well good try Wayne but we all know the mighty Chesil can be....soul destroying:). Footnote.Dived sat picked up 57 !!! Leads and blk bag of line. Can't believe some idiot thought it wise to fish nr Adelaide with I estimate 8-10 lb nylon, picked up 2 of his rigs plus about 50 yds line. Have you ever known so many "straps" around ??

Its very hard being disabled to find a mark on Chesil due to the shingle bank. West bexington has the carpark the closest to the beach.
Seemingly hard to catch fish there..😳
