My face when you just slapped the gesso lid on the canvas -->😱. But when you just do not care for something, why prolong the inevitable? Let it go, start over, move on. You're like a scientist with art supplies and it's so freeing to watch as someone new to art. It's easy to be intimidated by so many different mediums, but daixykaren is like "More of everything, please 😊."
I really want to thank you for creating a channel in the first place. I've always enjoyed painting but the chaos of daily life responsibilities, school and job, pulled me away from it. When I saw you painting with gouache I felt drawn to do so too and try that media as well - since then, I've completed more paintings (in gouache and other media) than I had in the last 5 years. Thank you again Karen, your work is beautiful!
It turned out so PRETTY in the end, god im obsessed with your art and the whole process too, in the beginning it feels so intimidating to do anything, thanks for reminding me that you just gotta let things flow. Love you

i was so stunned when you gesso'd over the mountain part! i thought you were just going to re-do the sky! omg! such a real look into the artist experience, though. sometimes it doesn't feel right and it has to go! :-)
Your art style is so inspiring to add more colours in my work✨🫶🏽 im actually pretty scared adding colours bc im scared they wont look good with each other but yours!?! Damnn colours just dance well with each other 😩🌸🫶🏽✨
