Phenomenal build. The flying was on point for the aircraft. Wide sweeping SAR turns and legs with controlled airspeed and altitude passes. I’d like to see this aircraft make passes over water with a good cameraman. That’s the scale reality.
Good to see and hear a RC aircraft that actually looks, sounds and behaves like the real thing. Too many RC aircraft, especially the larger aircraft sound tiny, too fast and nothing like the real thing.
I’m building an OH-6A right now and unfortunately you can’t achieve this level of scale without a lot of rework. Luckily they have standoff scale and a flight performance event which is where you really shine.
I dont know how to explain this but Ive been flying rc for years and when does the size of the craft your flying no longer really be considered a rc hobby plane? Idk maybe im wrong but its all cool but its really not something I would be into for this size and its not really a hobby anymore.
Of course it’s a hobby 😉 Some people have more money for the hobby and some people have less for it. But as long as you don't do it professionally, it's still a hobby.
It's only about the same size as a small to medium sized turbine jet. I'd not say it's was huge but it's still an RC hobby helicopter and cool one too 🇬🇧

I agree. Additionally, if you don’t see the scale effort as a hobby, then the scale bug hasn’t bit you hard enough.

I call this level.. 'Aero Engineering' My old Wat4 is def RC modelling.
This is flown like a fast toy. There is nothing remotely scare about the way it is flown. Superb model but vastly over powered. Sorry...
