- The Prince of Wales joined HM The Queen in the Royal Carriage for Day 2 of Royal Ascot, on the day where the Group 1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes takes centre stage. Lord Lloyd Webber and Princess Eugenie also featured in the Royal Procession on Wednesday.

I'm interested in growing a bit of grass for under my feet in the A.M. Where does the lime come in? As a top dressing? Like that expression "Limed up". Thanks if you answer. Ascot reminds me of the Derby in the USA . The queen actually went to Kentucky to learn about the importance of Science in their diet. Like to find who it whose farm she went to. @theresawinchester3834 I think The Duchess of Gloucester is a brilliant member of the BRF and The Duke as well. Duty is their name and they seem to work tirelessly! She is actually Danish, born in Denmark as Birgitte Eva van Deurs Henriksen in 1946. She and Prince Richard married in 1972 and have enjoyed a long and happy marriage. I think they still make a striking couple and she is still a beautiful woman. Sorry this was so long ~ I have a great affection for her!

I imagine Princess Catherine is a little sad to miss this event as she and William seem to enjoy the festivities so much as a couple but I'm thankful she had the wisdom not to push herself unnecessarily. The loving glances they have shared made Ascot seem like a special "date day" for them! Rest well lovely Princess ~ there are years and years of Ascot dates for you and your charming Prince! 💜💜💜

This is a great outing for the family to enjoy. I love that it is a tribute to the Queen without being work oriented. This reminds the world that Queen Elizabeth II was a true Queen in both birth and attitude. Her son has continued with her policies and is continuing the very British activities of tea parties, horse competitions and benefactors of the arts and sciences. I love the hats.😊 Favorite at Ascot is the blue hat of the Duchess of Gloucester.

It's nice to see Eugenie but, that graduation(?) tassel hanging from her hat was quite odd. She seemed annoyed by it. I suspect it will be snipped off before the day is over. Otherwise, it was a pretty hat.

A Royal insider revealed that they discuss at length what they will have for dinner, such as Birdseye potato waffles, Findus crispy pancakes, and Tesco Value baked beans. A novelty dessert for the Royals is a Mr Kipling Fondant Fancy in Ambrosia tinned custard. But not the yellow ones, as they present a colour-clash problem with the custard.

Camilla is very much Queen Camilla as she is supporting her husband, the Regnant, the Reigning Monarch - King Charles III. Queen Camilla understands her position as the Queen to the King, in the same way that Prince Philip understood his position next to his wife, the Regnant, the Resigning Monarch Queen Elizabeth II. In time, when William is King - he may choose to use his first name and as such be known as King William V or since Philip is one of his birth names, he might decide to be crowned as King Philip as a memory to his GrandPa. Whatever Regnant name William uses, his wife will support him, as Queen Catherine. ❤🎉 🇦🇺
