This is such a great channel. I had never heard of Lyda before - and what she did was amazing and horrendous.

I can’t even get a date on Saturday night, yet this woman had a husband before the weekend even arrived! I sold life insurance for many years, and I never had such a dedicated client as Lyda. Still, it’s hard to believe that one would murder over the amounts of money she received. I think one estimate was $85,000 in today’s dollars. Then again, people have murdered over tennis shoes, so I guess the answer lies in the depravity of man, not money. Sad. And so much like Lori Ryan Vallow Daybelle (I think I missed one).

lori vallows story tho happened way before corona, saying she knew it was coming means that she is in a sense some sort of God

i like how she left the contiguous united states when the heat was on. I'd never heard of Lyda, great vid! Why would Minton attempt to court a woman convicted of poisoning 5 husbands? looks like she got creative with Shaw.

Minton is such a strange character in this story. Was he blinded by love? Did he have a complete lack of common sense? Who knows. His death is what really gets me. Did she kill him, and if so, how and why? There are tons of questions we'll never have answers to.
