    If i could give this bank -5 stars i would. my wife has had a credit card with HSBC for almost 6 years now, never missed a payment, she lost her job in April 2020 and despite that, she kept making her payments, we are in October 2020 now, i suggested that she calls the bank and ask for a three months relief like i did with my bank, al mashreq, and over the course of three weeks they kept transferring her calls from one department to another, till finally she had a call today with one of HSBC representatives, and basically she told my wife that they won't give any relieves, they will freeze her bank account and block her credit card, my wife was like why?, i am making my payments on time, never missed a single payment, and doing freelance work for now to keep making my payments till i find another job, just leave me alone, you are going to make my situation even worse, just forget about my request to delay my payments, but, no they blocked her credit card, will freeze her bank account, knowing that she lost her job due to COVID19. The bank is punishing my wife for being honest basically.
    We are going to file a complaint at the central bank of the UAE, already got in touch with a lawyer, we won't stand still in the face of that obnoxious abuse of power.
