I mean, Killua just needed the wake-up call from Alluka. I get it, Killua is having a difficult time protecting his sisters (Alluka AND Nanika), but that doesn't mean he should give up on one over the other because it's easier. You could look at it as if YOU had two sisters to protect. Killua, being under pressure from Illumi, thought he made the best decision to tell Nanika she could no longer come out because if Nanika no longer comes out then there's zero threat from Illumi. (Also want to point out how much it hurt Killua to say that to Nanika.)
So when Alluka came back out she pretty much told him what he needed to hear.
"If you want to protect ME you have to protect Nanika, too!"
That's why he slapped himself in the face. He was like, "What am I doing? She's right." So yeah, even though he was trying to do the right thing, he also messed up by essentially giving up on Nanika. That's why he asked Nanika if she could forgive him for being a bad big brother. Kind of feels like you're offended for Killua, lol. Killua's not offended. He's just like, "Thank you Alluka, I didn't realize what I was doing."
It's a lot easier to understand if you put it into the perspective of two separate sisters.
I wonder why you edited out Pariston crying and threatening Cheadle.

He's always unbiased, even towards his own ideas and beliefs, he loves to be hindered and challenged, being the underdog. All for the sake of fun lmao
To be honest, Netero was a bad chairman.
he is corrupt, at least in the literal sense of the word, it is also said that he is involved with bribes. but above all he is an evil person, he says he takes pleasure in people hating him and that he likes to hurt people dear to him so I would put it more like chaotic evil than chaotic neutral.
Dude the guy has hunters disappearing and barely denies it, he is ready to risk the fate of the entire planet just because of his curiosity to explore the dark continent. He has also gotten the CA eggs to play with even though those contain real people like Palm. He's not chaotic neutral, he's definitely evil.

It would be interesting for you to eventually research the discussion about alluka being an allusion to transsexuality, there is a huge discussion in the fanbase about whether the character is trans or not, but I believe that researching this will only show how much more complex this arc is than it seems. the next epi is basically the conclusion of her arc so any research you do on the character will be spoiler free 🙌

@@trafalgarlaw8373regardless of how important you think it is to the overall plot of the arc, it has definitely been a heated topic of discussion within the fanbase. i used to moderate chat for a streamer who did a hxh watch through and it was constant in chat that resulted in lots of deleted messages and timeouts and even some bans.
imo it’s not even subtle or subtextual, and it’s pretty clear in the text itself with the most cursory reading. killua is her favourite brother and is consistently shown to be the only one who respects and cares for her enough to refer to her correctly - to the point of actively affirming her by pointing it out to others (eg when he tells gotoh she’s a girl and that’s why he asked canary to join) while illumi, the family member who shows most hostility towards her, is also the one who misgenders her most consistently. you shouldn’t need the show to spell it out for you by announcing SHE’S TRANS BTW when it’s been made clear in other ways - coming fresh from the chimera ant arc we know extremely well how togashi often likes to show things rather than explicitly tell, and trust that the audience can infer the meaning for themselves.
@@cuppateiai mean, you could be right. But it depends if the english translation actually conveys what togashi wanted to tell. Im saying this because the spanish translation, or at least, the most accepted one, always treats Alluka as a she, and because of that im confused, because maybe togashi wanted to touch misgendering as portrayed in the english one, or maybe there is something lost in translation that both, spanish or english didnt know how to translate. I say this to you instead of googling it because i think is the type of thing so specific that i dont know how to verify lol. But since ive always interpreted that the treatment of illumi towards alluka was like that because he dehumanizes her, not because he is transphobic, because he sees her like a weapon or a monster. So calling her a him just to dehumanize her dont seems very likely to me. Thats why im trying yo say that it depends in the japanese words used to refer to alluka/nanika in the original work with its japanese meaning (japanese is a very complex languaje lol)
