It just changes Scenes slightly and i noticed it only from Watching the first few Episodes of the Anime and then going to look out how its done in the Manga. I actually find the Anime rly does a better job for the most Part, also i dont like the Art of the Manga that much while the Anime has rly good Art and ANimations of the Characters. But man some Scenes are making this the ga*est Anime i ever watched, i totally didnt expect that and rly skipped some scenes oO Also the finger breaking Scene for some reason was rly hard to Watch. But compared to this Manga, i thought to be impossible to Adapt because its way more cruel but until later has less nude and S*x Scenes: Compared to his Hero he lets at least the first victimes off the hook pretty easily. That being said, while he seems to be a more...ugh, Lawful Neutral? Or Chaotic Neutral? Heck, maybe even more Lawful Good or Chaotic Good than we give him credit for, I think we need to follow his example, among many others, some far more famous, and realize that if someone truly felt moral convictions against one's work, whether artistically, politically, what have you, that maybe attention isn't always the best thing to give someone, as it may only help fuel their growth, success, and even defense, and that sometimes neglect/ignoring is a better strategy for "defeating" that which you "hate."

No matter what your opinion on Redo is, this author made some fantastic points about his philosophy and line of work. I really do respect him for that and I am genuinely excited for that Assassin Anime to come out.
Like he said, sex and violence sells, even if people don't want to admit it, our tiny monkey brains magnetize to stuff like that. 70% of what's on the news tends to be just that, and throw in some drug related stuff for good measure. This can also extend to other media types like games and movies/shows. The man knows what is up, and uses that general mindset we have to get his work out.

@Samuel Hernandez There are countless talented musician who never see the light of day. Similar for fantasy stories, there are countless good, proper, sanitary fantasy novels, that never see the light of day. Add a bit of controversy and then an army of tools will give you the publicity you need to stand out. That's what he meant. lol Then if you like something, say you like game of thrones, but everyone is calling your an incest-lover because it does contain incest, but it is much more. It won't turn you away from liking the series. It will instead hardline you to love/support it even more.
Yeah I'm not a redo fan, but I like some of the author's other works. Dont think there's many authors self-censoring though as much as it is a matter of being few actually decent authors who write this type of content
I like his answer to the second question tho. Most people would just say something like "it has been my passion to write from childhood or something" but he actually explained step by step on how he became a writer.
Definitely. I respect his hustle and can see how he took a very analytical approach to it. Aiming for polarization is one thing, also, but succeeding and delivering content that satisfies the fans is another.
And in a very relatable way. So many people started writing after saying "I enjoyed this story, but I would like it even more if that happened instead".
His explaination for the "50/50" is like a big brain 200 IQ neuron activation pro gamer move. He really know how to manipulate the concept of people are more likely to pay attention to 2 guys fighting than 2 dudes shaking hands.

He's actually right about how sex alone doesn't sell as much as it should seem. Eroges are a very good example of this. How many times have you played them just to see the sexual action, but by the 4th or so sexual event, you start skipping the scene much quicker just to get through the sensual dialogue and move on to the next part. It becomes very formulaic in vanilla themes because the creator is just making sure every basic position is being portrayed until the game ends - it gets predictable and dull in the end.
Accurate, I need some emotion with those scenes! It's a big reason I love stories where those scenes are few and far between, like in Katawa Shoujo, where you might have two or three in any given route. They're pretty vanilla, but they're charged with emotion and paired with a soundtrack that remains among my favorites, even years after playing the game. A whole bunch of sex scenes can easily become boring, but a singular one or two can become deeply memorable.
It could sell if they diversify the protagonists to include half-black half-Japanese and market it to overseas market too via Steam. Changing the types of protagonists might diversify storytelling in Japanese works including all mediums such as RPGs too so it won't get stale fast.
eroges are the most boring games ever created, they are games solely created for those in the ages 8 and up, yes 8 and up no spelling mistakes there. Because when you're that young you see these games as something forbidden, and exciting, and once you hit the age of reason, these games lose pretty much all entertainment value. The best games are those who is a lot more than just erotic bullshittery, where the sexual stuff is more of a bonus, over the actual basegame. But since even those lose interest fast, and I've played more than 300 such games in my life, many before and many after the age of reason, because it's a very interesting field of games, not because of the sexual matters, but due to the actual diversity in underlying base games, there's everything from Schmups to Puzzle games.

I don't think even the manga is that far yet. At least for the translated part, we are just past the black wing tribe arc. So sign of a rabbit or a fox girl. The anime covered maybe 24-27 chapters or so and it goes up to chapter 35.1 currently.
i mean he isn't wrong, i wanted to see what women like to read so I can entertain more people with my writing, and female young adult novels were very sexually graphic many of which were slightly violent to really violent sexual content. it doesn't start with the moms reading things like 50 shades of grey, it starts way way before that. also, part of the reason I say graphic is because it's literally graphic as in there is a LOT of details on the "body parts" with many adjectives that made me blush when I probably wouldn't blink an eye to a video produced by blacked..... so yes safe to say, many women like the assault/rape fantasy in a SAFE setting, why do you think women like rough play while having sex with someone they feel safe with. that doesn't mean that women actually like to get assaulted for real, those are two wildly different things. it's like guys who like reading and watching a male protagonist who is violent and kills people, it doesn't mean that your average joe wants to kill people.
@@CrypticCobra The only time the mc actually raped was in the 2nd episode (because she was ruining his life) and in the 12th episode (Norn planned the killing of his villages and many demons for no reason). I wrote the stuff I wanted to read because I felt like it didn't exist yet, and I admire him for finding his niche and filling it. The actual content itself isn't for me, but if he's happy and making money doing something he's passionate about, good for him.

There's not really anything to hate here at all. He pushed just far enough to make his work standout and all of the choices he made have solid logic behind them. You can hate his work but respect the mindset that went into creating it.

This dude is absolutely genius. Even though they say the anime is bad, for me is fantastic. I love the storyline that the MC stay in his way (revenge) and not changing his way suddenly
This author basically decided to make the most controversial and hardcore light novel in recent years because he thought other revenge LNs were weak. This man is an absolute legend, openly admitted to writing it cuz he thought it'd sell well. What an absolute mad lad.
He specifically made a point to not pass certain limits with the hardcore as he knew people would be turned off if something were to be "too hardcore". He calculated it very well.
Give that man as many medals as you can. Having a well-ballanced controversy is a thing that a lot of people can't achieve easily. In my opinion, he did a really good job of blending subject matters that would attract attention and curiosity for people to watch something that they'd might like potentially without overdoing it and losing the artistic balance.
Also the "100 enjoyable series" is basically the existing big series of each genre and the abundance of less popular ones that employ the same patterns with the occasional twist/gimmick. There being authors that write stories that specifically appeal to niches is great. I dont understand all the hate. It's basically the "if you dont like it, you dont have to buy it" that western games companies pull whenever people complain about politics in their titles. Except something like Redo isnt leeching off a popular previous part or something
He is just a good businessman. Made really smart decisions, sold a popular product. People might hate what he did, but he achieved what most people wish they could achieve.

This anime is sitting at the top of the list for me!
Funny thing is i dont know about the LN but the Anime differs in several details and scenes from the Manga without going astray from the Story.
But man some Scenes are making this the ga*est Anime i ever watched, i totally didnt expect that and rly skipped some scenes oO
Also the finger breaking Scene for some reason was rly hard to Watch.
But compared to this Manga, i thought to be impossible to Adapt because its way more cruel but until later has less nude and S*x Scenes:
Compared to his Hero he lets at least the first victimes off the hook pretty easily. Man he even Threats the brainwashed Ex Princess pretty well now.
This so far for me was the sickest Manga Revenge Story i read and i was very very conflicted. His world seems alot more gruesome in general like there is only about 5% or less of humans left, that dont deserve to die^^

@@gametheus1306 i remember forcing my friends to play katawa shoujo and getting them addicted to dating sims good times.

He specifically made a point to not pass certain limits with the hardcore as he knew people would be turned off if something were to be "too hardcore". He calculated it very well.

He's one of those you want as drinking buddies and together talks about cultures in anime...
Man of culture
He's definitely someone you want to talk about "culture of anime" with
Give that man as many medals as you can. Having a well-ballanced controversy is a thing that a lot of people can't achieve easily. In my opinion, he did a really good job of blending subject matters that would attract attention and curiosity for people to watch something that they'd might like potentially without overdoing it and losing the artistic balance.
What a legend, instead of trying to make a series enjoyable for 100 he'd rather make 50 passionate fans
A 100 enjoyable series doesn't exist.. So his approach is the more realistic
Except something like Redo isnt leeching off a popular previous part or something
and 50 passionate haters lol
That's what I want to be. You can't please everyone.
What a amazing person, great advice
He is just a good businessman. Made really smart decisions, sold a popular product. People might hate what he did, but he achieved what most people wish they could achieve.
