Crohns is a no joke, I used to take it lightly when I was younger. But I quickly learned that this is. MONSTER of a disease.
But we got this! Handling it the best way we can!

Yeah it is so much easier doing the prep this way lol
Still a toll on my stomach but I'll take this over everything together.

Can no longer drink blue Gatorade because of preps. The nausea is a b****. Hopefully you’re feeling much better.

Hey Paul I am sure you help anybody dealing with GI issues and diseases. I have a question. A long time ago when Jacquie had her Channel, Paul I never heard you ever talk about your Crohn's disease. It was mostly about what Janice was going through. Today I heard you say that now you have a better quality of life. Very curious and interested what were you going through before you started actively taking a look at your Crohn's disease, getting a colonoscopy getting an ostomy bag and all the stuff you're doing now. What was happening before like when your videos were around a few years ago? And what happened that made it so bad that you needed to take it to the level that it is right now? Thank you so much I'm trying to learn about what's going on with you guys. I watch your channel because I like you guys but I never understood what you were going through Paul and I would like to know. Take care see you guys soon

No problem at all, I'll be happy to explain quickly... kinda lol
So I was diagnosed with Crohn's at a young age of 16. A few years later I was put on a medication called remicade. It kept me at remission for YEARS.
I felt great, was able to eat food without issue. I had crohns and flares here and there but overall I was stable.
These biologic medication are very tricky. I developed allergic reactions to the medicine. When I switched from one to another I at one point got stuck on one from a certain doctor. My body needed something different and the medicine wasn't working well enough.
My body's reaction of inflammation in the colon developed and got so severe that I had a stricture that was almost a blockage. The inflammation turned into scar tissue and would never go back to normal. So what was needed was surgery to remove the problem part of the colon and give me a colostomy. And now I'm planning on my reconnecting surgery soon!

How do you do this?:( i have anal fissures and hemorrhoids. My b M are so painful and odd. Im exhausted. You are absolutely brave!! They didnt give you the clear liquid this time? I was given a clear liquid to take it allll out. I dont believe i could pull off a colonoscopy with an anal fissure. I literally cry inside of me everytime..... I will come back to this vlog and re read my comment. I should have No pain!!!! Amen

Doing a prep with a fissure or fistula os asking for trouble! Lol
I can't imagine, I would literally cry in pain when I had my fistula and I was also having like 10 movements a day so that combination SUCKED.
But this is why we go to the doctors and get it taken care of. I hope you are feeling better and that your on the road to living a better life!👍😃💚
