I lost my oldest sister too 8 years ago, my youngest sister who was only 29 when she left this world which was 31 years ago, my mom 18 years ago and my dad 14 years ago - not to mention my sweet niece at the age of only 36.
And you are right, they are not around forever. Oh how I miss them all 😢 thank God for the memories ❤️
My uncle told me to see my grandparents while I can because they won’t be around forever. I was in Denver and it goes to show I miss my grandma and grandpa.

You know as a kid you think the ones you love are gonna live together,and as you get older you realize not to take life for granted and be thankful and love the time that you spend with your loved one because life’s gone in a blink of an eye. I lost my papaw in 2018 and it was the hardest year of my life I new the day was coming but I didn’t think it would happen so fast.I was also raised to live one another and spend all that you got together because, the ones you love aren’t going to be around forever, and you should never take that for granted.I could never imagine loosing my brother, he is everything to me, he has always been there for me through everything.I couldn’t make it in this world without him.Love and cherish all the moments in life because they don’t last forever🙏🏼

I relate to this song so much. Was 16 when I lost my sister she was only 28 with 4 kids. And like you my dad was superman to me to, my rock. Losing him was hard, losing my older brother and mother. But the thing to remember is they aren't gone as long as you make there memories live on. Then they are with you forever. Prayers and much love from the center on the map.
You once commented that not all your songs came from personal experience but the common ground that everyone can feel within the song is what makes it good.
