This reminded me of George Strait immediately. Believe me, I fell for country because of George Strait and that means something for someone like me from Hawaii. His voice inflection is no where mainstream but the smoothness that guys that love 80s and 90s country can feel.
He totally is a George Strait without a doubt in every song he sings. I am a huge GS fan as well as Cody Johnson. This is the country music to the core!

(We'll get to the little princess in time) but I do agree, the video was turned into something that is easily seen it wasn't meant to be portrayed the way it was. Awesome song and video non the less.

I think they nailed it with the video. It shows what separation on a child can be like and that REAL MEN miss the children if separated/divorced. I’m a child of multiple separations almost yearly till my parents finally got divorced when I was 16. I always wanted to know if my dad missed me because he always took my brother and let my mom have me!

REAL country is slowly, but surely making a comeback. I play music at the grassroots level. Local bars, small gigs, and I can see the younger crowd really turning toward the early 90's country. Maybe there's life left in COUNTRY music. I was lucky enough to play with a couple of the great early 90's artists so it makes me happy to see a revival slowly brewing.

Just saw him last night here in Fort Smith, AR. Amazing show, and the nicest guys. I was hanging around outside onthe sidewalk writing down some song ideas in my notebook and a couple of his band members came to out talk to me. We hung out till 3am at a local bar. One worst days of this new year for me ended with one of the best nights of my life.
