“Miss Saigon” is a Masterpiece 👌 an Epic Musical. Lea was only 17 when she was scouted for the main role of Kim & started her career at the West end. Some of the songs in this musical are amazing & lyrically astounding. Hope you react to “Sun & Moon” & “Last night of the World” ( duets from the 2 leads Lea & the “Chris” character from this musical) 💓
You want to learn perfect singing technique? You STUDY Lea Salonga. Outside of opera, I'm not sure I've seen a better technique for Broadway or pop.

I have heard it said that Lea Salonga is among the singers who sing to EXPRESS (an idea, a message, etc), not to IMPRESS or attract attention to themselves alone, not showing off.
Thanks for the reaction. We do SOOO need to get over ourselves and look at some of the realities of life if we want to grow in compassion and unity so I think it's great to delve into some things that have more meaning and are not just "fun".

Young singers in the Philippines adores and idolizes Leah. At a young age of 10 she released her first music album. All her songs are sang by all kids in tne Philippines during that time. She further develope her talents with the Repertory Philippines singing in musicals, tv, concerts. When she auditions for Ms. Saigon at age 17 she passed the audition together with her friends and fellow Repertory Philippines standout like Monique Wilson, Isay Alvarez, Janine Desiderio to name a few.
You make me want to go find your Mother & hug her! She raised a good man, a real man.

She left PH sometime ago to represent our country for the new generation of Broadway Singers and she slayed her way in ❤️ I Love them ❤️
Both Lea and Rachelle are amazing. But Lea is next level brilliant. A truly exceptional talent and stage presence who owns the stage whenever she steps on it but she is always so generous in sharing the stage with other performers as this performance showcases.

I have always been a fan of Leah Salonga since her younger years.. A special memory I have of her was her duet with another Filipino singer, Jose Mari Chan, the one who composed and sang Christmas in Our Hearts.

Thank you for your best reaction to our Pride Filipinas Kea Salonga was an Original lead character Kim in Miss Saigon , UK in late 80’s , won some awards there , then when miss Saigon was showing in New York in 1990 Lea remained as Kim and Won Tony Best actress award that open her so many opportunities in her career, after Miss Saigon , she played In Liz Misssersve
I mean in Les Miserable , got Standing aviation in the middle of the play after she sing On my Own and recorded that Song in the album of 25th anniversary , follows with the Disney journey , and Shen continue to make the best history of her career , Then when Lea move to New York .Lea’s childhood best friend as an original cast in Miss Saigon remained in London who replace Lea as Kim , And when Miss Saigon open again I think if I not mistaken around 5 yrs ago Rachel Ann Go got that lead Character as Kim. Our country Philippines are very proud of their achievement in this very comparative industry ,among of so many unknown Filipino artist who’s working in this industry around the World ... Its a Filipino thing. They brought their people with them on the stage and sang every note, pronounced every syllable, and probably saw all their faces. (It took me 20 minutes to word this, lol). They saw this as a new future I think. I can feel it more than explain it.
