- After being delayed for months due to COVID-19. We finally got to move into our first home together. A Barratt Homes Kingsville 4 bed semi-detached home. Perfect for first time buyers. We used HTB ISA's and the Help to Buy government scheme.

I'm one of those who build new houses so it's good to see buyers reactions as some companies on hand over walk through properties with the buyer and some stand back like barratt's and say i hope you enjoy and allow the owners time to walk through at their leisure and unhindered.
But having been in your home i'm interested in the snagging list,how many things did you find?.

I can see on your video there is room for a bigger washing machine in the gap. I wondered if you could help us with the height including the extra space of your washing machine?

That’s from bottom of the counter top to the floor. And from oven to the cupboard. But obviously each kitchen fitter will vary so may not be exact.

its not funny, imprisoning a child in a cupboard is criminal child abuse and dangerous. plus yellowing turf. rubble underneath. we had a newbuild when i was a kid and the garden was full of rubble.

Thanks so much! We’ve only noticed some noise recently as there’s been a dog next door. You can hear the front door, only running up and down stairs and dog barking. That’s it, it’s really not bad at all.
Hope you don’t mind me asking, your marble effect bathroom tiles are they an upgrade or part of the standard selection you get to pick? I love them 😍 lovely house x

Hi! A double will fit in both top floor rooms. Just not the bottom floor study/bedroom :)

Hi we just thinking of buying the Kingsville in Norwich how big is your garden and do you have a garage and how are you getting on with it any problems yet

Hi, yes it’s freehold, our garden is the same size as the house however this varies site to site. Don’t have a garage, no problems but haven’t got round to getting big cracks filled

It’s just vinyl sheet, I have no idea what that first one is sorry 😂

Yes we did
Would you say this home is big enough for a family of 4. Kids aged 8 and 12?
I’d say so yes! You’ve got a lot of choice with the space & rooms. I would’ve loved a bedroom like the rooms on the top floor as a kid! Although it depends on many other things too. My neighbours have 2 kids in their Kingsville. Just a matter of the use of space :)
@@lucylaming5074 thats great thanks so much for getting back to me so quick. Last question. How about storage? Storing things like Christmas tree, suitcases etc. I can see there not a lot of storage cupboards for kingsville I'm looking at. Do you get a bit of loft space?
@@CC-cd1en there’s a step cupboard in one of the upstairs bedrooms, you’re likely to be advised not to put anything in the loft but empty boxes are fine. Luckily for us we have the spare bedrooms for storage atm. But still find I want a utility for extra storage. Some Kingsvilles come with a garage! Also storage furniture comes in handy!
Thought this is a 3 bed? Cheeky of Barratt to advertise this as 4 bed.
Can be made into a 4 bed, the 4th being very small but still has the potential
