  • The Metro Regional Connector Project extends from the Metro L Line (Gold) Little Tokyo/Arts District Station to the 7th Street/Metro Center Station in downtown Los Angeles. The 1.9-mile alignment will serve Little Tokyo, the Arts District, Civic Center, The Historic Core, Broadway, Grand Av, Bunker Hill, Flower St and the Financial District.
    The completion of this construction milestone is especially significant as it will mark the end of the Regional Connector Transit Project and the beginning of greater connectivity for all Angelenos.

    That was done in 5 months?! Are you kidding me?! You talking about epic achievements, this is it!

    The magnitude of construction work done within 5 months is incredible, especially considering that this was during the covid pandemic!!! Great job.

      if this would be china it would have been done in a week maybe even less its sad how us americans work that slow

      @asianhunk99 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@simitharnold8120 That’s because in the US, we expected to be treated like humans not slaves, life-work balance, and not killing ourselves due to an authoritarian government. Also, it was done faster this time due to full street closures possible DUE to Covid rather than in spite of it.

      @@simitharnold8120 that's why building collapses are such a common occurrence in china.

    • @asianhunk99
      @asianhunk99 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@simitharnold8120 Also, there are environmental regulations and requirements in the US that protect us and construction workers from harmful chemicals, fumes, construction noise at night, and dangerous work practices, which the Chinese government doesn't care about, cuz they don't care about human lives, except the communist officials themselves and their families. Taking account of those protections makes work much slower, and also ensuring proper work takes time. If you think China's so good, go move over there next to any construction project and see how it feels. Plus if you complain about the noise or other issues, see what happens to you... You're likely to disappear from anyone you know suddenly, basically "vanishing" from society. If you have an American passport, maybe that won't happen to you, but it's not a guarantee.

    Why so many levels?

    • @colbystearns5238

      I think it has to do with not wanting the passing trains to disturb the acoustics at the nearby Walt Disney Concert Hall since there were worries about that.

    • @RappinPicard
      @RappinPicard 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because the regional connector has to cross over the red line runner and there’s too many utility lines above the red line tunnel so they need to go underneath it.

    • @SuperheroJunior
      @SuperheroJunior 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@RappinPicard That is a smart idea. I can't wait until the regional connector finally opens and also the purple line extension too.
