proud to be georgian becasue of him
i think being 6'6 and literally 400 pounds helps a bit
Lol yup ,but also how many guys with that size can move that way ?? Lol
@@AnthonyGarcia-sy3yk given the context of olympic weightlifting, im just saying his size is definitely to his benefit
@@georgejoseph1430 mmm the height helps him longer legs is longer pull and leght for the bar grab more speed .. so yeah size and technique helps him both.
For as big as he his … he is probably they best mover … his technique is so good it almost looks effortless …
He never misses …. He’s the goat
@@TrollHunterxXx i agree :))
It’s all in the power belly
I don’t know if lasha is the strongest human being, because even while the snatch and the clean and jerk are hard, they require more technical prowess than strength. I think the title of strongest would go to zydrunas savickas or someone like Eddie Hall
I love your videos you really help me
Love the Groove Armada t-shirt.
One can compete and win while clean but no one survives the training to get there - A Pisarenko
No touch definitely has helped me to punch through on third pull
im 6'4" with very long arms (and thankfully a longish torso) struggling with hip contact in the snatch. I either have to bend my arms - or shrug aggressively before contact in the second pull. The arm bend feels so inconsistent at heavier weights. Should I switch to upper thigh contact or just shrug hard? How the fuck does lasha achieve good contact at his height?
Koklayev have super long arms i would try to mimic him if i were you
@@marcusbundajev3159 this is a great suggestion - just watched his snatch. its very similar to what im inclined to do naturally but so different from what is commonly taught - the thigh contact doesnt really allow for a very aggressive second pull (compared to the thigh contact). It seems like the bar accelerates less for kokylaev but maybe faster off the floor?
Is it good to take supplements?? Orr which supplements I can take for strength, stamina and for recovery. 🙏 Please try to answer it. .
Yes supplements are good, if you are still eating well. Whey protein, creatine, and caffeine are beneficial.
Love you from India
Does the bodyweight help in olympic lifting? If I gain weight (as fat), I will improve my PR?
Probably..it will be easier to keep you muscle mass if natural. Also a fat stomach helps in bouncing back from the bottom position.
I don't get it. You can't jump with your heels planted, so what's the real reason for flat heels?
boss im very bored of olympic and conventional power lift movements. So very very bored....gyming is boring for me now.
No one cares if you’re bored, he’s educating us on how to perform our best as athletes. It’s why we’re here.
@@reeceb7759 i am having issues with motivation. I lost my desire to progress on front squat, cleans and squats. That's my issue. Maybe a quick video or on Q&A could be mentioned. I feel like I met all my old goals from 10y ago and don't have another 10y project to look forward so I feel like I'm just going to gym rather than actually training
@@3DHDcat so make another goal.. go rock climbing, try an endurance sport like running/biking/swimming.. no one can give you motivation.. make a goal that your passionate about and get motivated.
Don’t do it if you don’t enjoy it
I am first 🥇🏅💯
Am I first? Nope
Where are you from
Amrica
🇬🇪🇬🇪
Only china can create firstcopy of lasha....
Going on a big cycle and not being drug tested will me my biggest tip LMAO
Then have almost perfect technique and top 1% genes.
I can give you a 24 hour gear IV and you will still have a hard time rolling a quarter of those weights on the buttered floor.

No. He's not. Alexeev clean and PRESSED 521lbs. NO ONE has done that! And if the story is true he could do 30+dead hang pull ups at 350lbs.
Is there a video of that clean and press? Sounds amazing
@@kmidst_fn5225 yes. I will look for it. I think it was the final meet where the clean and press was allowed.
