I've never heard anyone call them sewer dogs! We call it dirty dogs...it's called that not because of the sewage water...it's because its been floating in that bin for who knows how long or if they even bother to change the water. Nowadays, I only see tourists eat it. No sane new Yorkers would pay $5 for that. Might as well go to a hipster dog resto.
