I just knew that salmon dish would be amazing when you said how you were preparing it. It's so gratifying to watch you catch, forage and harvest your meals! Missed Bo this time!
Your fishing trip makes me long for my younger days when I used to fish the Shenandoah River for Small Mouth Bass. No matter how many you caught, it was still a wonderful day and, eating the fresh fish that evening was a real treat. You guys are the best. Stay safe and stay strong.
I love the fishing and the food but the best tasting fish in my mind is the one cooked right after caught on shore line with salt pepper and butter with a couple slices of home made bread ! GREAT WATCHING THANKS

Hi and thanks for the video. I wish that we in Finland, where we live, had as good salmon fishing... What we do have is all kinds of currants, black, white, red, pink and green currants. All are yummy and they're supereasy to grow. In case you would want to try you could cut a branch of the plant you found. Put it in a glas of water for rooting, or directly into a pot with good compost. Keep well watered and you have a new plant within a few weeks. Grown in a garden and with good soil the berries get much bigger. Good luck, Rebecca from Åland
The Cloud berries grow in Norway also.🤓I also enjoy foraging berries. I currently have 8 quarts of wild blackberries in my freezer that I will turn into syrup once the rest of my canning is winding down. Love your channel!
You two must not go out to eat very often. I imagine it would be so disappointing after the FANTASTIC meals you have at home! So wonderful to watch you make meals from river/woods to table. Very gratifying.
That meal looked so delicious, even though I can't stomach fish. You don't even look like you get tired of processing the fish or eating it! Very healthy for you.. wish I could eat it! You two are a great team together!

First, my brain appreciates when your blog includes the date/time reference stamp. Second, your cooking show has an instant mouthwatering affect. Red currents make beautiful clear red jelly! And the taste can not be replicated so wonderful I could eat spoonfuls! You have to make some it will forever remain your favorite I guarantee!
So good to see that the salmon are in the river in high numbers, I love salmon fishing, such great fighters. Yes, those were blueberries that you were picking, not huckleberries. The wild berries are really plentiful this year also, here in New Brunswick Canada.
You guys got the knives 😀. I didn't realize they would be so big. They probably would be good for processing the moose you'll catch this year. Love the video
All the different berries makes me quite jealous. I enjoyed watch you guys fooridge in all these different places and your personal berry preferences. Amazing to see how the berrie bushes look, most of the world receives the berries in a tub or a can... You guys showed us the source. I hope to see more vids like this

Another super outing. I love fish and wish I could go fishing as much as you. Still, your videos make us feel we are actually with you. Ah, red currants, delicious... You could always take cuttings to propagate and grow more bushes.
Just catching up on videos from you guys. You've taught me a Delawarean about how many different kinds of Salmon there are. Growing up I only ever had Pink Salmon..as a 45 yr old adult my palate has tried others obviously lol. But still never knew the extent til watching you two a few years ago! Ty for another great video. I can watch your videos over & over! I did read the Salmon berries can be used as a tea for diarrhea and both berries can be used for burns. You have this on your property is just amazing!
Sandhill Cranes are fascinating. I first discovered them when living in Orlando, FL and heard they are up here in New Hampshire and crazy they are in Alaska!
@@mattfedick4632 they are protected in Florida. It makes things interesting because they like to make their nests in the highway medians and it’s illegal to move them

Lol you guys are so cute together 💕💕💕boy that looks delicious 😋 😋😋
Just finished Irish salmon tonight with my wife and it was delicious, however, I’m sure what you have is absolutely amazing.
Cool vid and Arielle is cute
"it's extremely complimentary...kind of like peanut butter and salami.." did Ariel really say that?? lol. I love you guys
That one got me too, now I gotta buy me some salami…😂
Emmm... maybe jalapeno and salami.
Yep, I reacted also.. peanut butter and salami, not so sure about that combo.🤔
The Train, the train from Railroad Alaska. You guys are living the best life.
You guys got the knives 😀. I didn't realize they would be so big. They probably would be good for processing the moose you'll catch this year. Love the video
Your aloud to catch moose? :)
@@40intrek yeah, but you need some really strong line. They fight too.
Lol I didn't like the word hunt guys. Give me a break.
@@marvellac.1525 jokes. Its all good!
All the different berries makes me quite jealous. I enjoyed watch you guys fooridge in all these different places and your personal berry preferences. Amazing to see how the berrie bushes look, most of the world receives the berries in a tub or a can... You guys showed us the source. I hope to see more vids like this
Love Salmon like you could eat it all the time with other things of the SALAD with berries. Love currants and have made jellies and Jams with them Alaska is the one state I haven't visited yet just might have to do it!!!
24:38 it's been a berry good year
Another super outing.
Ribeye of the sky. Great eating birds
@@mattfedick4632 they are protected in Florida. It makes things interesting because they like to make their nests in the highway medians and it’s illegal to move them
BAM! lol Great video!!! Love you guys!!!
I don’t care for salmon but I would definitely try that dish!! Another beautiful and enjoyable video. 🥰👍
Fresh wild Salmon is great, try Artic Char too.
@@mrwes100 I caught an Artic char on Big lake years ago it was huge and man was it tasty.
@@alaskanken2132 my favorite. A cross between a Salmon and. Trout. Much milder IMHO.
@@mrwes100 and they are a very beautiful fish as well.
@@alaskanken2132 Agreed. My wife turned me on to Artic Char.
Alaskan silver salmon, wild berries and garden fresh greens...living your best life...bam!
Fishing again, you guys are making me jealous.
You two never cease to amaze me with your wilderness beauty, adventure, sports, over the top cooking skills and love and compatibility with each other!
I"ve had Cloudberry Jam & Cloudberry liqueur from Nova Scotia. Salmonberries are a different species.
I simply just love your show. You guys make a great couple and project such great vibes. Your show is so interesting showing us how a simple life can make you so happy to live a life of freedom. Way to go team, keep going.
