@@ChrisBranlehI like the 005 Better than the ARC in many ways. Honestly I want the Free series pill pattern. It looks more expensive than the plain painted ARC. The ARC looks cheap. They should have a left handed version. Multiple frame styles and patterns to choose from. As well as ARC versions with NO MAGNACUT blade. Some of us don't care about the blade on a Leatherman. Mine is just a backup to the pocket knife I already carry. I want a P4 with the bit drivers and the original P4 reamer. Since it's better than the ARC's. Easy, then offer it in the same colors that the T2 and T4 are offered in and match them with a colored sheath. Easy money!!
Leatherman buyers they have a first responder & teacher discount so if a friend or family member qualifies you save I believe 30% from the list price. Was 3 tools a year limit back when I used it a couple years ago.
Good grief! What in the world is going on with Leatherman? They should have released several different versions / configurations of the ARC over the last year! The entire Leatherman marketing, sales, and product development team needs to be replaced!
If you have Roxon's ear, please advise them about the potential market for a SAK style flex. I'm a dedicated pliers guy now, and I desperately want a SAK that actually has the tools I need, and nothing else.
Leatherman already went downhill a couple of years ago when they cancelled the Juice, Crunch etc. My first gen Juice S2 is quite beat up, I would love to buy (dont even expect warranty) a new one. Just nothing comparable. I bought a Wingman and put a Sidekick blade in that one, that is the most close to a Juice S2 as far as I can figure, but I find it to bulky for some occasions. The difference with my 2012 Charge TTi in size and weight is just too small. So now I carry my 2012 Charge TTi almost everyday. "Upgrade" to a Arc from the Charge? Nah each one has its advantages but I wouldnt say its better overall. Find a nice smaller model? Nothing available. I would even carry a Leap if it was still available. I also have a old Kick, Squirt and had another Charge TTi which I sold. Bought bit sets and spend a lot on Leatherman Tools but to me it seems like they just gave up on serious multitools and now started making jewelry-like multitools. If I need a new multitool I highly doubt it would again be a Leatherman. That's not because my use or needs changed but because I can't figure out the value propositian anymore.
@@RK-kn1ud If you check out Roxon's website I belive their new Roxon Companion is on preorder. Unfortunately after this video Roxon moved the release date on the review video. The tool is great and the review should be up now around the end of the month.
Many different types of coating are labelled as DLC, but are actually PVD or Ti Nitrate. I can't think of any true DLC that isn't black whether polished or chalky? Be interesting to see if anyone tests the HRC on it.

Leatherman have a big problem with its designers team : they have no new ideas.Paint a multitool its not an innovation.I suggest them develope a new leatherman juice for edc , a new ratchet for working an a new keyring for urban use.
Can i say that Leatherman isnt the issue here and its many people that keep complaining while keep buying this crap? Ive seen so many people in the community complain about the cutters and other Defects and price, yet they still buy it and show leatherman that they can get away with it and its profitable, same as apple, no innovation same phone every year but they will take out the earbuds and charger and you will still buy it like a little piggy, next they will take out all the sheeths and bits including those that come on the tool, and you will still buy them separately 😂

True. Also we don’t know what the P&L looks like so maybe they’re making big $. The new designs seem lame we just don’t know the market numbers.
