KORG DW-8000 from 1985 - Preset Playthrough and First Impressions - The Novation Summit of the 80's

The Korg DW-8000 is the flagship synth of Korg's DW line, which will be expanded with the Korg Modwave in 2021! These are Hybrid architecture synths like the Novation Summit or Sequential Prophet X. What that means is that the Oscillators are digital Wavetables but the Filters and Envelopes are Analog goodness. This is Korg's first hybrid synth from 1985! A really cool synth capable of blurring the lines between analog and DX7-style digital sounds. In this video I playthrough the presets and give you my first impressions.
