I made the switch after Google refuses to fix its 720p upload/download bug. Sync is literally amazing honestly wish I found this out sooner! 10/10 Highly Recommend!!
@@PeteMatheson i switched to syncing local computer folders & that's the only alternative that works. both of the cloud folder sync options kept deleting my files
Even I am planning to leave Google drive as they removed the unlimited storage options and now they have capped also increased prices. I am checking on Sync and Box for unlimited storage

As a graphic designer, I have a lot of clients who use Dropbox. Do all of my clients need to have accounts with Sync to share files as they now do with Dropbox? Do they get folders on their computers the way Dropbox has? Thanks for a great video.
dont know about sync, but dropbox can share direct links to files by changing the 0 to a 1 at the end of the file share url no account needed for the downloader
Hi, i just updated sync today on my pc. I clicked on the icon and it said an update was available so i updated it. Now when i click the icon it says "uploading files to server" and all my files in my sync folder don't have the green checkmark. Im a little worried, is this process normal?
Thanks for the review! In Backblaze if you don't keep your drive connected all the time Backblaze will delete the files you backed up from there after 30 days. Does Sync do the same?
I think is will be great to keep my project file in cloud storage because , one day the project file been corrupted and it was not fun to re create it from the start
Does Sync Storage sync with external HD's after macOS API changes where the DropBox folder is no longer supporting external HD and being moved to the internal drive ~/Library/CloudStorage?
Not sure it's so secure. Multiple users cannot login with their passwords and keep getting 6001 incorrect password error. When you contact the support they suggest to reset the password. There is no real support that you could reach via phone. Will not be using this service as it's too risky.

Sync was so slow even for a Canadian. The upload was around 2-3 MB/s while other services was around 60-100 MB/s.

weird, backblaze doesnt do that for me, I had my PC turned off for 2 months and it was all online still

No backup, no pity. Always go for a 3-2-1 backup strategy. 3 datasets, 2 types of media, 1 dataset stored offsite.

I had the same issue. There were some privacy and security settings I had to change (on Mac) then the cloudfiles appeared for me.
Is the space of your plan really unlimited or just 10tb ? I have doubts about this...
