last seen can be deactivated but not the Online even when online, whatsapp doesnt have that option yet,atleast not for Appel. The Status bar you deactivated where you chosed no one is about the whatsapp-status you post on whatsapp and doesn't make sence if you chose no one and still send status on whatsapp, there you just decide not to share your status with someone specific for one reason or the other... Thanks for the other futures though...🙂
Did all that, and I’m still showing as being online. Doesn’t seem to work although you would expect instinctively that changing those three settings would work...
I've also tried the same, but it didn't work. Still I'm showing as "Online".

This does not work, the status is here is just that feature like Instagram stories. It does not hide if you are online.

that’s not true, setting these options off doesn’t make you appear offline if you’re on the app. bruh you serious? stop giving false info, whatsapp itself isn’t designed to do that and you did it? 😂 wow, genius!

As far as I know you cannot hide being online. Have you had anyone check if it actually says your offline when your online? Because as far as I know it’s impossible

this does not make u appear offline, only hides your last seen.
I only want to be offline because my Wife moans all the time if I'm online and I'm not talking talking to her when I'm at work. She gets really shitty about it sometimes. Didnt work for me because I dont have the word advance in my settings and my settings is not on the bottom right but top right instead. I guess I may have the old whatsapp or something

It doesn't work if you want to be offline, uninstall the app or switch off your data/ internet connection.It is such simple , no any other way

pff they can still see that you have read the message. if they click on the message and click on delete they can see "delete for everyone" if you havnt read it. if you did.. they will see "delete for yourself" thats the way they can still know -_-

I have an iPhone..Did all of that and ppl can still see when I’m online but I know that it can be done bc I have 2 friends that basically ignore my messages and reply whenever they want so one day I decided to go to the message and delete it thinking that they had not seen it bc only one tik was showing but when I went to delete the message “delete for all” did not show up and this happens when the person has seen and read the message. “DELETE FOR ME ONLY” was my only option which confirms they read the message!! But when I questioned them about the appearing offline on WhatsApp they acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about. That’s how I know it is possible but itz not working for me as mentioned on this video! Why is that?
Your friends might have seen your message from the notifications of whatsapp and marked that message as read.
really? but i thought that option for 'delete for all' has a time limit. it doesn't mean that person have read or not, because i had sent wrong picture to my boyfriend, he had seen it because we were chatting, then i deleted it for everyone. i did that a few times actually. not only that one time, i also did it with stickers and chats.
I think you can turn your data off I'm not sure but I know that people do this too and it looks like my message didn't get delivered and they're not online but somehow they read it I think the notification priority notifications help but don't Mark as read if you don't want people to think you read it
I feel like though to delete all somehow they have to disconnect or shut down WhatsApp maybe a force shutdown?
If you want to delete after the time elapses, go to setting on your phone turn off automatic date and time and set the date to the day before you sent the message. Then go back to WhatsApp and delete the message. Remember to turn on the automatic date and time. This can be done for messages over a year old... just need to go back to the date and time you sent the message
I watched it not about last seen . Please tell how to look offline while we online just for avoiding any interruption and having our "me time"
Is there a way calls won't be going through, as long as data connection is on calls are still coming in which is an indication that you probably are seeing the calls but you just ignore them

When I want to choose Only share with … that Done on top right side does not appear, but if I click on My contacts except, that Done turns up on top right side and I do not click on it
If someone calls then you receive the call so you can't say that it is offline. When your data on then you don't have to receive the call.

SETTINGS, ACCOUNT, PRIVACY, LAST SEEN (NOBODY) STATUS (only share with) dont choose anybody JUST CLICK DONE OR HIT TICK. THEN (READ RECEIPTS) OFF ..........you're safe. Thanks Michaela xx

Just go into settings and turn off all notifications for WhatsApp.

My version of Whatsapp doesn't have the "Done" on the "Only Share With" screen. Uhm... So I fixed this issue by selecting one contact, and the "Done" came up. ;)
