Hey Ms Caroline! I thought you would be a good wig wearer to trust with my question, about bleaching knots, for a lighter complection? I just bleached my knots on my new wig once, and it's on the orange side. and i need to go in with bleach again, to fit me better. but I'm scared to bleach again, because last time I bleached twice on a wig, the lace turned RED... and I was confused, and I couldn't wear it... so for my new wig, I left the bleach on for a hour. I didn't want to leave it on no longer, for Longevity purposes. so what should I do? Go in again to get it lighter? And how should I protect the lace from changing colors??? I'm giving it a few days to rest as well. But I really need some advice and help!!! 😢😅😊
Have you tried toning the knots? Maybe after it’s toned with blue & purple shampoo it’ll turn more brown the. Orange. Then you can use concealer on the part later to get it to be lighter like your scalp
