You are essentially doing top quality QA work for them here. I WISH in software development I had a QA team break down the problem so well like this with detailed testing and examples. Its crazy how they haven't hired you to do this as a consultant or something. I hate how the industry barely has any QA and just assumes the playerbase will do it for them.
All the millions in development and they can't get a game to work right. These are only the bugs for one thing too. I can list at least 20 things that don't work or are bugged. It's sad we pay good hard earned for a half polished turd.
I'd rather Ghost be more forgiving than not. It's in a pretty competitive perk tier too, so I don't mind it being good. I remember Blops4's Ghost only being active while moving at sprint speed and shutting off immediately once dropping below it. I wouldn't want something that strict ever again.
This. You are potentially sacrificing reduced damage to explosives in order to play stealthy. It's a fair trade off. I get that some folks don't like ghost, but you've always had to burn a perk on it, so it should be strong.
Agree completely. I just want ghost to not be the completely stationary version that allows people to camp. Even having to wiggle a little bit is enough for me. At least someone can't prone in one spot for a minute or crouch/prone in a bush or something, just a little wiggle gives you a bit of a visual cue. This is probably the most fairly balance version of ghost I've seen
This being in the same category as Ninja makes you consider your choices even more as well, assuming you aren’t using Perk Greed. Even as someone who will have Perk Greed as their first perma-unlock, I’d give that slot to Scavenger
Hahaha that’s a great point. May as well save the perk slot and run a launcher secondary, or just have an AR build handy with: Suppressor, Extended Mags (I or II), and FMJ. UAVs are super easy to take out. The Scout Pulse thing is just plain bad.
At least it isn't Infinity Ward and they Day 1 claymores in MW2019 - they had 360 explosions instead of being just where the lasers were, and EOD didn't stop them from being insta-kills if you detonated them. "Perfectly balanced, as all things should be"
Ghost has litterally allways been worthless, especially in recent years. you can just kill the UAV, you have 6 team members who can all choose to run a launcher. if your playing in a group a UAV should never get more than 1 sweep.
Not sure if related, but I had heard that you need to reselect your class for Ninja to work. This was true in SnD for every round. It might have been fixed.
I was definitely thinking it was bugged. Good to see that I’m just playing with tons of hackers instead 😅 the most egregious example was after a fresh respawn I had a player tracking me through a wall without a UAV or Advanced UAV while I had ghost and a suppressor and I definitely didn’t have a live ping as I just spawned in. Great work Craptivision!

Only way I can get the ranks to show up is to go into the campaign and then exit. Then the ranks show up in multiplayer again. It's a pain and I hope they fix it.
This might be a little too lenient. I remember way back in the day they mentioned they don't want you to be able to just wiggle in a corner and be able to activate ghost, yet here we are, being able todo just that.
Ghoat being forgiving is fine because uav spam is very abundant. Imi they need to buff and lower cost for lower tier lethal streaks to make them more viable vs uav and cuav cause thats all ppl run it seems like.
agreed as someone that ran UAV CUAV and HARP it is extremely easy to get the HARP off the UAV and CUAV as once you get the score for the UAV which is easy you just let teammates carry your score and maybe get a few extra kills to do more work then most lethal streaks can do in a shorter period of time

How are people complaining about this. This is exactly what the game needs. People moving, game should encourage movement. I remember in the old cods people used to absolutely hate ghost because of how much it slowed down the game. Now we have you clowns egging it on.

Like literally stop and use a headglitch for a gunfight for 2 seconds and you're on the radar if using something with low strafe speed. Sounds like you are the clown if you think a basic uav makes you entitled to see everyone on the map at all times.

Disregarding the scout pulse bug I think ghost is in an "okay" state. Imo bo6 is a less campy game I really don't see it much so I'm not worried about the little wiggle to ghost but I would prefer it be full on walking needed to activate it.
This game is full of bugs lol last night in zombies me and my squad exfil at round 41, we do it successfully, get on the heli but the game glitches out and our bodies morph through the heli and stay on the roof and we can’t move or do anything and get killed and the game doesn’t even end after we all go down and die. Just stuck on the cutscene screen and have to leave. All that extra XP just lost after we did everything right. And other people on reddit have said they’ve experienced the same thing. Games been out two and a half weeks lol
loving your content as I do every year on COD release. Would you ever do a “Solo Multiplayer Guide”? Include a loadout or two, but the focus of the video should be practical tips for doing better in solo play. I think tons of players would benefit from this as COD players tend to get into their ways and stick with them, so a fresh guide on controlling the map and strategy for keeping a high KD while playing solo would be amazing!
I'd love to see a breakdown like this video, but with dead silence/ninja. My buddy and I have some suspicions that it may not be working, or there's also something we may be missing, like possible equipment ratting when running or something of the sort.
in what way? Ace recently posted a video about the AMP completely overkilling ninja so even if you are running ninja you will sound like anyone not running ninja to the enemy also ninja isn't completely silent only quieted down compared to not running ninja

you shouldn't be so worked up about small bugs. Performance and accessibility issues are a big deal but bugs are to be expected so long as they aren't extreme or game breaking.
And you get free wall hacks from dying.. clearly broken from just using a perk. It would be different if it worked for rewarding going on a set kill streak without dying 🤷 still broken but was probably catered to less skilled players smh.
I think the forgiveness on the movement is excellent. It's in a competitive perk tier, and it's still not working for people that literally just sit in a corner with a sniper/lmg. Love it
Thanks, Ace. Unfortunately, none of it matters since you can't really push or flank anyway with Recon (Oh, and straight up ass Infinity Ward spawns) around. Guess I'll be waiting another few years for a Trearch game where, maybe, I can play that style again.
Treyarch could easily tweak the spawns if they wanted. Maybe you're only playing tiny map modes though, they always have bad spawns and there's no real way to fix that
Vigilance is not showing a marker when you appear on the mini map it is showing you that an enemy can visually see you and the direction that they can see you from. Meaning he has a direct sight line on you. you are not appearing on the mini map still you're just physically visible to an enemy.
Remember Advanced Warfare had vigilance-like mechanic, and it worked perfectly fine? And it wasn't even a perk, everyone had it by default. And indication was way more noticeable (your arrow on minimap get red outline). Why do they break good thing?

Do you plan on doing a video for penetration damage? I've noticed with the some of the AR's the base penetration damage seems unbelievably low sometimes with the amount of hit markers you will get
Love your videos, you always do a great job testing, and are a huge help in my game play, can you test flak jacket perk as well, I swear I was at full health and have still died to a explosive, on several occasions, and I know it's common for a new COD to have issues with this, thanks again for all your helpful videos 😊

I love how i use my unlock token to get val, and the last challenge i need i need ghost, but cant unlock it so have to wait till the next blue perk now. Cool stuff
The HARP absolutely needs a buff. Currently 2 rockets from a Cigma can shoot it down (done this myself multiple times) and I just learned that Ghost decreases it's effectiveness from this video. Its definitely no Blackbird or VSAT lol
You know I hope this comment gets some attention and I’ll probably bring it up in your next upload as well but can we talk about the inconsistency in health when it comes to the watchdog helo like there have been times when it takes two rockets to take it down and other times where it feels it has way more health than it should like I'm talking about it taking 4 rockets and some change I have footage of me and teammates during a public match struggling to take it down.
Was wanting this info. Was trying to look up this detail yesterday. Seemed like people knew right where I was a lot suppressed with ghost. So must be mostly people using scout pulse.
Nice change from the previous game where for MONTHS ghost was bugged to hell and would not activate on strafing, aim walking etc, would turn off instantly the moment you stopped sprinting, and a suppressor actually disabled it :)

Vigilance is bugged in FFA. It doesn't counter scramblers or CUAVs at all. Haven't checked in over a week as it was pointless using it, so maybe it's already fixed
@@Sgt.chickens honestly all airstreaks are worthless. as an LMG user with FMJ i can kill a HARP in like 40-50 bullets, including some misses. tbh if the maps and spawns werent so shitty it'd be 100% risk free to counter every air unit, however even your own spawn isn't safe enough to look in the sky for l9nger than ten seconds without dying lol
Yeah I would say the Harp's biggest issue is how easy it is to shoot down. People don't even need to run interceptors in this game because it is far too easy to shoot down everything except the chopper gunner for some reason. The Chopper gunner is nigh invincible.
@@loadedexcrement Chopper Gunner is only ~4 mags from an average rifle like the L85A1, XM4, CETME Model L or AK-74. Tough to get off without dying alone but totally doable. The HARP should enjoy the same safety as the HATR from BO3, no guns, rockets only, seems like a reasonable thing for a high altitude recon vehicle, since that'd be well above the ~2000 meters a full rifle cartridge can travel.
Ace, what are your thoughts on the Vigilance eye icon? It seems like it might be bugged-it appears underneath the mini-map, which doesn’t seem right. It should probably be placed somewhere more visible and noticeable. Also, do you have any insight into what’s going on with the UAV and CUAV icons showing up on the mini-map? For example, there’s a red UAV icon on the mini-map at 5:57.
Vigilance is also bugged it straight up does not make you immune to scrambler and some games the scramblers become the size of the radar it’s insane… 4 years development
stealth gameplay in this cod absolutely redundant. Even if you equip ghost and ninja together with a silenced weapon, flanking is pretty much off the table because of the recon speciality. Also the maps are so incredibly small that there will always be a teammate around you that makes enemies look your way. We need bigger maps to enable the use of routes. Back in the day I always took a route that my teammates did not take just so I could fully use my stealth build.
I had engineer highlighting enemy players with the same red highlight through walls. Haven’t seen anyone mention that yet, made me nervous at first thinking somebody is doing something fishy.
I think that could be when they use the field upgrade to inject themselves so they down the first time. Think it counts their body as the field equipment being used in that state

It is even worse. Although I am Prestige 1 Level 29 it is not unlocked since Season 1 is online. There is written "Ghost will be unlocked at level 17". Strange, isn´t it?
I swear ninja is bugged. I've seen so many kill cams where someone is in a gunfight then will completely 180 to pre-aim a doorway I'm about to come through. In the killcam you can hear my footsteps loud af like I don't even have ninja. Also, I've noticed that teammates with ninja equipped also have very loud audible footsteps as if they don't have it on.
I'm just baffled that Ace (someone who doesn't work for Treyarch and isn't accepting a check from them every two weeks) is more meticulous in finding bugs and details about the game that I can almost guarantee the devs would have no idea about. I am convinced many of these bugs and stat errors in COD games would probably go unnoticed if it weren't for Ace. That just shows how not diligent these devs are. There are probably 100 people working on this game and i bet you NONE of them know that vigilance is bugged. Smh
I like that ghost doesn't require a certain movement speed, although it does give campers a huge advantage. I don't like is that we always say "Oh, it's just a bug" about this game. EVERYTHING is a bug in this game. I've never played a CoD on launch that's so god damn buggy. With over a decade in experience, five of those games on the same engine but altered, you'd think we'd be past this by now. It's ridiculous. Ninja SnD, archangel launcher, suppressors/ghost/scout pulse, impact grenade direct impact, on release hardcore damage, map rotations, spawns, etc. I'm sure the list goes on. This has to be unacceptable for a game that had two betas and three years of development, two if I'm being generous for Cold War's cycle.

Ninja seems to be failing under some circumstances too, my friends tell me they could hear my footsteps with ninja and I couldn't hear theirs, also on some killcams early in the round (before someone has time to charge the amp) I can see how the enemy moves suddenly like when you clearly hear someone and start pre aiming where I'm about to entry and I'm not that close to them when they hear me.
Ninja is broken..spectators can hear enemy footsteps loud and clear. Search is unplayable because of it. Having dead teammates who can hear enemy footsteps across the map is bad. I dont see anyone talking about this either and im concerned for ranked play search.
I say that the perk needs no to be nerfed when you look at the amount of cheaters in this game that use wall hacks. It’s Activision way of saying we’re not banning cheats or fixing Ricochet so here’s a per class that somewhat evens the playing field.
They need to be more harsh for movement with ghost. Should not activate if player is not moving at a consistent speed. The wiggle movement is allowing players to camp with ghosts and basically use it like they did in mw 2019. Not too fair. Also ghost should NEVER counter harp. This black bird streak is the weakest we have ever seen it despite it being a high point streak. It can be shot down (never was able to shoot it down in previous cods) and acts like a fast uav if a player has ghost? Why? If you call in a dominant support streak, it should be exactly that, dominant. Its the reward for playing objective and never being killed. That reward is knowing the enemy’s position in real time for a limited amount of time. They other team gets dominated to that point and all they have to do is shoot down the harp? Might as well run a different high streak or no high streaks at all.
I've had bugs during release not sure if its still a bug, I would get shot and the damage indicator would tell me right but the character was actually on the left. Some weird mirror effect. The coding in this game was definitely not tested enough before release.

Biggest sign that vigilance perk icon doesn't work: It activates constantly during face-off, where getting UAVs and scout pulses isn't even possible.

Well it's definitely bugged on my end. I'm lvl38 and it's still locked and it gets unlocked at lvl17.

@@AvengeTheMasks it just looks like they do zero internal testing, and we all know that public betas are nothing but demos for marketing. If CoD was a single player game, it would launch completely unplayable every year.
you shouldn't be so worked up about small bugs. Performance and accessibility issues are a big deal but bugs are to be expected so long as they aren't extreme or game breaking.
And you get free wall hacks from dying.. clearly broken from just using a perk. It would be different if it worked for rewarding going on a set kill streak without dying 🤷 still broken but was probably catered to less skilled players smh.
I think the forgiveness on the movement is excellent. It's in a competitive perk tier, and it's still not working for people that literally just sit in a corner with a sniper/lmg. Love it

Treyarch could easily tweak the spawns if they wanted. Maybe you're only playing tiny map modes though, they always have bad spawns and there's no real way to fix that

Scout pulse being used in my S&D lobbies makes so much more sense now.
Only wish while while holding or in an objective, you stayed off the mini map, regardless of moving.
Vigilance is not showing a marker when you appear on the mini map it is showing you that an enemy can visually see you and the direction that they can see you from. Meaning he has a direct sight line on you. you are not appearing on the mini map still you're just physically visible to an enemy.

Remember Advanced Warfare had vigilance-like mechanic, and it worked perfectly fine? And it wasn't even a perk, everyone had it by default. And indication was way more noticeable (your arrow on minimap get red outline).

Do you plan on doing a video for penetration damage? I've noticed with the some of the AR's the base penetration damage seems unbelievably low sometimes with the amount of hit markers you will get

This video was really helpful thank you not sure why Combat Scout is so OP lol. Ghost perk should work the way it does with the HARP that is smart imo, but the other bugs need to be fixed otherwise the Vigilance perk is pointless

I know you’ve always been a run and gunner Ace, but for us Tactical gamers and the RP guys, slight movement maintaining ghost is perfect.
The HARP absolutely needs a buff. Currently 2 rockets from a Cigma can shoot it down (done this myself multiple times) and I just learned that Ghost decreases it's effectiveness from this video.

You know I hope this comment gets some attention and I’ll probably bring it up in your next upload as well but can we talk about the inconsistency in health when it comes to the watchdog helo like there have been times when it takes two rockets to take it down and other times where it feels it has way more health than it should like I'm talking about it taking 4 rockets and some change I have footage of me and teammates during a public match struggling to take it down.

The movement threshold is probably fine for the game as its fast paced, if the game was as slow as something like MW22, it would have been a problem.

Nice change from the previous game where for MONTHS ghost was bugged to hell and would not activate on strafing, aim walking etc, would turn off instantly the moment you stopped sprinting, and a suppressor actually disabled it :)

Ninja is also bugged. In SND you need to equip your class each round, for it turns out stay active.
Vigilance is bugged in FFA. It doesn't counter scramblers or CUAVs at all. Haven't checked in over a week as it was pointless using it, so maybe it's already fixed

@@Sgt.chickens honestly all airstreaks are worthless. as an LMG user with FMJ i can kill a HARP in like 40-50 bullets, including some misses. tbh if the maps and spawns werent so shitty it'd be 100% risk free to counter every air unit, however even your own spawn isn't safe enough to look in the sky for l9nger than ten seconds without dying lol
Yeah I would say the Harp's biggest issue is how easy it is to shoot down. People don't even need to run interceptors in this game because it is far too easy to shoot down everything except the chopper gunner for some reason. The Chopper gunner is nigh invincible.
@@loadedexcrement Chopper Gunner is only ~4 mags from an average rifle like the L85A1, XM4, CETME Model L or AK-74. Tough to get off without dying alone but totally doable.
The HARP should enjoy the same safety as the HATR from BO3, no guns, rockets only, seems like a reasonable thing for a high altitude recon vehicle, since that'd be well above the ~2000 meters a full rifle cartridge can travel.

Ace, what are your thoughts on the Vigilance eye icon? It seems like it might be bugged-it appears underneath the mini-map, which doesn’t seem right. It should probably be placed somewhere more visible and noticeable. Also, do you have any insight into what’s going on with the UAV and CUAV icons showing up on the mini-map? For example, there’s a red UAV icon on the mini-map at 5:57.
Vigilance is also bugged it straight up does not make you immune to scrambler and some games the scramblers become the size of the radar it’s insane… 4 years development
stealth gameplay in this cod absolutely redundant. Even if you equip ghost and ninja together with a silenced weapon, flanking is pretty much off the table because of the recon speciality. Also the maps are so incredibly small that there will always be a teammate around you that makes enemies look your way. We need bigger maps to enable the use of routes. Back in the day I always took a route that my teammates did not take just so I could fully use my stealth build.

A minor but annoying bug I've found recently is that I cannot remove camos from guns. It just reapplies them every time. I just want my wood ak!
I had engineer highlighting enemy players with the same red highlight through walls. Haven’t seen anyone mention that yet, made me nervous at first thinking somebody is doing something fishy.
I think that could be when they use the field upgrade to inject themselves so they down the first time. Think it counts their body as the field equipment being used in that state
@ that would make more sense. I feel like It happened once when I was using all green perks too, so I wonder if it’s just a weird glitch either way but I’m not sure I could’ve been using engineer I don’t remember for sure

You can shoot down the UAV with one magazine of any weapon. I shoot it down with auto machine pistol or shoot it twice with my snuper

It is even worse. Although I am Prestige 1 Level 29 it is not unlocked since Season 1 is online. There is written "Ghost will be unlocked at level 17". Strange, isn´t it?
I swear ninja is bugged. I've seen so many kill cams where someone is in a gunfight then will completely 180 to pre-aim a doorway I'm about to come through. In the killcam you can hear my footsteps loud af like I don't even have ninja. Also, I've noticed that teammates with ninja equipped also have very loud audible footsteps as if they don't have it on.

I'm just baffled that Ace (someone who doesn't work for Treyarch and isn't accepting a check from them every two weeks) is more meticulous in finding bugs and details about the game that I can almost guarantee the devs would have no idea about. I am convinced many of these bugs and stat errors in COD games would probably go unnoticed if it weren't for Ace. That just shows how not diligent these devs are. There are probably 100 people working on this game and i bet you NONE of them know that vigilance is bugged. Smh

I like that ghost doesn't require a certain movement speed, although it does give campers a huge advantage. I don't like is that we always say "Oh, it's just a bug" about this game. EVERYTHING is a bug in this game. I've never played a CoD on launch that's so god damn buggy. With over a decade in experience, five of those games on the same engine but altered, you'd think we'd be past this by now. It's ridiculous.
Ninja SnD, archangel launcher, suppressors/ghost/scout pulse, impact grenade direct impact, on release hardcore damage, map rotations, spawns, etc. I'm sure the list goes on. This has to be unacceptable for a game that had two betas and three years of development, two if I'm being generous for Cold War's cycle.

The fact is that adults like us, or me, I guess, don't have that much time to play video games. I don't have hours on hours to prestige over and over. If I'm paying for a game that's overpriced, I expect an overpriced quality. Simple as.
And for the record, I don't dislike the game, even if I don't play it nearly as much as you do (prestige 0, 55). I think the game is decent. I dislike the company for letting the game be released in a beta state that's buggier than Tarkov currently is.
After the update, I can't get it to unlock since I'm level 20.
Ninja seems to be failing under some circumstances too, my friends tell me they could hear my footsteps with ninja and I couldn't hear theirs, also on some killcams early in the round (before someone has time to charge the amp) I can see how the enemy moves suddenly like when you clearly hear someone and start pre aiming where I'm about to entry and I'm not that close to them when they hear me.
Ninja is broken..spectators can hear enemy footsteps loud and clear. Search is unplayable because of it. Having dead teammates who can hear enemy footsteps across the map is bad. I dont see anyone talking about this either and im concerned for ranked play search.
I say that the perk needs no to be nerfed when you look at the amount of cheaters in this game that use wall hacks. It’s Activision way of saying we’re not banning cheats or fixing Ricochet so here’s a per class that somewhat evens the playing field.

They need to be more harsh for movement with ghost. Should not activate if player is not moving at a consistent speed. The wiggle movement is allowing players to camp with ghosts and basically use it like they did in mw 2019. Not too fair. Also ghost should NEVER counter harp. This black bird streak is the weakest we have ever seen it despite it being a high point streak. It can be shot down (never was able to shoot it down in previous cods) and acts like a fast uav if a player has ghost? Why? If you call in a dominant support streak, it should be exactly that, dominant. Its the reward for playing objective and never being killed. That reward is knowing the enemy’s position in real time for a limited amount of time. They other team gets dominated to that point and all they have to do is shoot down the harp? Might as well run a different high streak or no high streaks at all.
I've had bugs during release not sure if its still a bug, I would get shot and the damage indicator would tell me right but the character was actually on the left. Some weird mirror effect. The coding in this game was definitely not tested enough before release.
I prefer a forgiving Ghost perk especially in a competitive perk category
