People really don’t get this..North Koreas’ only interest in this is practical. They haven’t fought a war in years and need that real time experience. Once that battlefield experience has been gained they will move against South Korea.
The dictatorship also gets paid in money and/or technology. Life is cheap in North Korea and the state is gaining a lot from sending tens of thousands to their deaths. I don't think experience gain is much of a factor, but some very loyal people will learn something and probably come back and teach.
So they rotate to the front line, but can't fight, but get real war training and combat experience, but how do they survive this experience? Do they just hunker down, hide and take notes? If they are "rotating" in, doesn't this mean the Russian troops are "rotating out"? So, if the NoKor are unable to fight, do they just absorb bullets while the Russians get a rest break? 4:56 I recall Russia invaded in 2014 and took Crimea, so the most recent invasion is the second invasion. If Russia is not handed a clear defeat, the next invasion will be the third Russian invasion of Ukraine in this century. Also, Ukraine was assured support from the west when Ukraine surrendered Ukraine's nuclear weapons. Why should anyone believe there will be "unequivicable support" for Ukraine from the west for the next Russian invasion?
Doesn't matter. They probably have a commander with a translator to talk to the equivalent Russian commander. These North Korean troops will probably operate in their own sustained unit with supplies from the Russians and will be assigned a sector or objective. They are looking for combat experience which is valuable for the north Koreans right now if they plan on going back to war with the south.
In the US, neither the George H.W. Bush administration nor the Clinton administration was prepared to give a military commitment to Ukraine, and they did not believe the US Senate would ratify an international treaty and so the memorandum was adopted in more limited terms.

Its probable they will be on a troop rotation precisely because they can't fight and this allows them to get real war training and combat experience.
Bullet collectors? Are they there to collect recently spent ammunition to recycle it?
Always a quality interviewee.
I agree, if at all possible we should not allow Russia uncontested ownership of the Sea of Azov.
Not possible
@@mickmacgonigle5021, it does look that way currently. I'm leaning on hope at the moment.
Weapon in the hand of a fool could be unpredictable...
Fool, is no threat, since it lack direction...
Fundamentalism is dangerous, since it is highly contaious and scaleable...
Always enjoy hearing from George. James is always consistent with his interviews. What I'd like to know is what's with the color coordination of the black on black shirt combo? Perhaps he's trying to color coordinate with his liver. Very interesting James. Thanks for the video Times.
The report of N.K. troops fighting in Ukraine is bullsh1te.
10 thousand N Korean troops is true even Russia admits it
If a cease fire was declared and held, Ukraine's wartime borders or lines would be frozen in time.
100% agree with what this man said
4:56 I recall Russia invaded in 2014 and took Crimea, so the most recent invasion is the second invasion.
Lol. If the NK soldiers are useless, why do you even need to discuss on them?
Escalation
The Russians don't speak "North Korean"? Didn't realise that was a language 😉 😁
The US is bleeding out Ukraine
They would trade their weapon for a Big Mac.
It could be North Korea getting troops real world combat experience in preparation for open war fare with SK.
They don't have to fight, just provide a human shield for Russian soldiers.Putin has used Kim but he is so thick he cannot see it.
The Ukraine were already given a security guarantee by US and UK in order to surrender their Nuclear arsenal. Now you discuss a security guarantee!?
Moscow's nuclear arsenal they had the launch codes.
More empty words
@@ailinofaolin8897 Yes, but Ukraine inherited the hardware and could have disabled the USSR’s warheads and redesignate their own warheads.
In the US, neither the George H.W. Bush administration nor the Clinton administration was prepared to give a military commitment to Ukraine, and they did not believe the US Senate would ratify an international treaty and so the memorandum was adopted in more limited terms.
@@TheHighlanderprime There was never a version of reality where Moscow would have allowed a nuclear armed neighbor on its border. Think "Cuban missile crisis" but on Russia's side, how did the USA react to the prospect of missiles a short distance from its coast?
They sre no longer North Koreans. They ate equipped with a rusdoan passport, and is now "Russians"...
At this point, Samsung can march their janitorial crew into North Korea and liberate it.
Re D-day, Stalingrad and Gettysburg. A different outcome would only have delayed the end of the war not changed the result. Reasoning. The people who won had a preponderance of material so losing a few battles wouldn't change the result.
As I have said before, you only have to turn a rock over to find an 'expert'.
The Russians will have Korean interpreters, and the Koreans will have Russian interpreters. North Korean is not a distinct language. The language of North Korea is Korean.
