One of my cats is a great big brother to my foster kittens. He has to watch everything I do with them so he jumped up on the desk when he heard these kittens squeaking.
A lot of people who don't understand might be worried by the constant screams from the kitten, but they are actually good. It means the kitten is responsive and alive. If a kitten that young doesn't make noise like that then you should be worried
They are also complaining the same way a kid complains about having a bath, it’s not fun for them, so they cry, but they need to not die from fleas and flies
👏🏻 yes! I was actually about to post something similar! They’re complaining because it probably hurt due to them bleeding (and honestly it’s not often a cat actually likes being bathed), but is so good they’re responding! I would have been so scared if they weren’t 😢
I can't imagine the feeling of the kittens when they had all of those horrid bugs on them. They just have felt so itchy and clogged, I bet they felt such a relief when they were gone

That's why flies landed on them, they were practically corpses. They can tell when animals are close to death. Imagine how many unplanned street kittens there are out there that just became maggot food. Thank goodness for tnr.

@@andreag1880 Honestly foster parents just cannot be thanked enough. Those are little kittens that get to grow up, to be loved and cared for. They won't be part of the cycle of misery. So many innocent animals don't get that chance. I'm thankful for the ones that do.
I'm so inspired by just how instantly Kitten Lady goes into care mode. She was out, gets the call, gets there ASAP, starts combing them. Doesn't change, just pops some gloves on and gets it done. Even pulls her hair back with potentially eggs still on her hand. Like "eh I'll wash my hair later, right now these kids need me"
Last year, I had a kitten that was so covered in fly eggs, that they were in their eyes (I was able to wash them all out), and covering it from head to tail. When I saw him, I didn’t believe that it was possible for him to make it, but he did well and is happy, healthy, and more than a year old now.
She also said a fragrance free dish soap. My kitten was 8 weeks when I got him with fleas and I used original dawn dish soap and it worked. Hope this helps! :)

Watching the fleas crawl all over their faces (because they were trying to escape the soap and water) was so sad. Fleas are so big compared to these itty bitty babies 😢
The fleas are no where as big, it's the fact that there's a lot of them. Imaginal all the fleas in a pile and compare it to the kitten, they're like ants toppling on top of each other. Horrid either way, thank goodness for today's advancements in stopping these by bath solution.

My first cat was found underneath a quilt house, her eyes hadn't opened yet and mama was nowhere to be seen. We probably wouldn't have heard her if she hadn't been crying her lungs out. Poor thing was covered in fleas. Ended up being the greatest cat I ever had.

My brother recently found 5 newborn kittens info his yard that were abandoned by their mom. He said that they had flies around them, but tarted didn't see anything wrong at first and decided to foster them. When he was pottying them, he saw one that had maggots coming out of its rear end and later on another one had the same issue. He couldn't find a 24 hour clinic and had to wait until morning. By then, a 3rd kitten had them coming out of their ears. He unfortunately had to put those 3 shown because there was no sign of the maggots letting up no matter what he tried. Thankfully, the last 2 kittens are thriving and just opened their eyes.

I've never seen fleas on a litter of kittens this bad before. Fleas are quick little buggers, and it's a bit tricky for me sometimes when I check my cat for fleas. I usually find a couple hiding in the white fur on Tippy's belly, and she's pretty fussy about it and certainly doesn't like being checked for fleas.
I don’t know you but I love you so much! I have been trapping, spaying and neutering the strays in my neighborhood. I won’t rest until they are done. I just spent 4 days getting a kitten out of my neighbor’s car. Im keeping her and I named her Miss Daisy. She is the most adorable sweetheart. I have to imagine that the water was kinda stinging the areas that were bitten. Not the most fun part of the treatment, but definitely relieving to have the bugs off.
When she started bathing them I was so happy when they started crying because they were a bit quiet and scared me so those cry’s made me really happy to see they were responsive
This is real proof that kittens aren’t just smaller versions of adult cats, they need lots of care and can’t take care of themselves the way the adult cats can.

I'm so glad I watch you're videos. Today, my family and I just got a 5-6 week old tabby; Beans, from these two guys that found him on the street (could've been ran over) and they we're trying to turn him in to a shelter, but couldn't because they had to make an appointment and didn't know what to do. Coincidentally, we we're on the search to adopt a kitty and had no luck (the shelters were practically all closed at the time). We take him and he was dirty, infested with fleas, and had a tick in it's ear. We bought the basic necessities and went home to wash and clear him of the fleas. There was ALOT. We forgot we didn't have a flea comb, so I got practically almost all the buggers out with my nails. He was nice and clean, but we still went to petco to get a comb, no luck, they ran out. But my aunt did buy one for us and we got the rest of them out. Since we got him, he mostly drank water and refused to eat the food we bought, but later at night he DID eat (thankfully) and I did that bathroom stimulation that you do and it worked like a charm! Downside is that we found out that Beans actually has worms in his system, after he pooped. Tomorrow we're gonna get some medicine and have him vaccinated as fast as we can. All in all, you've provided so much helpful info and my family and I will do our best to make sure Beans gets all better. Thank you for being such an amazing channel ❤💕💗🐱

I've never seen fleas on a litter of kittens this bad before. Fleas are quick little buggers, and it's a bit tricky for me sometimes when I check my cat for fleas. I usually find a couple hiding in the white fur on Tippy's belly, and she's pretty fussy about it and certainly doesn't like being checked for fleas.

I don’t know you but I love you so much! I have been trapping, spaying and neutering the strays in my neighborhood. I won’t rest until they are done. I just spent 4 days getting a kitten out of my neighbor’s car. Im keeping her and I named her Miss Daisy. She is the most adorable sweetheart. I also found 2 younger babies and one of them had fly larvae on its tail. I’ve never experienced this. Thanks for posting this video! 💗💗💗💕💕💕

I'm so glad I watch you're videos. Today, my family and I just got a 5-6 week old tabby; Beans, from these two guys that found him on the street (could've been ran over) and they we're trying to turn him in to a shelter, but couldn't because they had to make an appointment and didn't know what to do. Coincidentally, we we're on the search to adopt a kitty and had no luck (the shelters were practically all closed at the time). We take him and he was dirty, infested with fleas, and had a tick in it's ear. We bought the basic necessities and went home to wash and clear him of the fleas. There was ALOT. We forgot we didn't have a flea comb, so I got practically almost all the buggers out with my nails. He was nice and clean, but we still went to petco to get a comb, no luck, they ran out. But my aunt did buy one for us and we got the rest of them out. Since we got him, he mostly drank water and refused to eat the food we bought, but later at night he DID eat (thankfully) and I did that bathroom stimulation that you do and it worked like a charm! Downside is that we found out that Beans actually has worms in his system, after he pooped. Tomorrow we're gonna get some medicine and have him vaccinated as fast as we can.
All in all, you've provided so much helpful info and my family and I will do our best to make sure Beans gets all better. Thank you for being such an amazing channel ❤💕💗🐱
