Who So-Ever that are making these taillights please Make More, there are thousands of Firebird Owner's that still Needs Parts for the F4 generation F-body. Not Just the taillights .??
I might need to start saving my money for this.
If you could make reproduction Firebird door panels, you would be my hero.
Coverlay makes the door panel piece that cracks, also make a main dash overlay, not the dashpad up top that always cracks, but the main dash. Not sure how the fitment is on those pieces.
@@mikeb6902 I've seen them advertised, but it's probably not as good as factory. I do appreciate it.
@@mikeb6902 Well yeah but arent those just covers? I have looked into those alot but figured that they were just big cover pices to put over the cracked ones

Omg, this is amazing! I can see they're popular, as they're out of stock. How often do you replenish stock on these?
Also, are the reverse lights clear, or a smoky white? I'll have to check mine again, but I thought that part was a bit clearer than what these look like. I could be wrong. Either way, amazing and I NEED some - mine are all messed up from age/sun damage.

Are these at least DOT legal?
Depends on your DOT. Most are fine as long as you light red. Some need a fixed red reflector (which we make). Some don’t allow anything but red. Etc.
I'm asking because I live in Finland where DOT approved lights have been ok since 2017. I imported my 1998 T/A in 2007 I had to buy 1993-1997 Euro tail lights.
@@j-pj6838 gotcha yeah in that scenario you need to have red AND amber showing.
We can do that was well, find a way to incorporate the amber into any style you like, same price.

I'm one of the rare ones with my factory taillights that are still in pristine mint condition. With that said, I'd like complete clear honeycomb lenses and keep my factory ones.

What’s the reason for them being so expensive? Is it just high demand?
@@Hassleback15 nah it’s manufacturing process. I thermal form lenses, then have designs applied to them and paint, then the housings are 3D printed which takes about 48 hours then finishing (paint etc for the chrome and black) finally sealing and shipping (about $100 after packaging).
Even when I was able to afford to do these as injection molds no companies wanted to deal with such a low run (hundreds to 1000 sales at best over the next 5-10 years).
Oh okay, I may end up buying a set in the future for my dads 1995 trans am.

Got my hands on a set of perfect oem taillights but now I don't want to put them on full time because it's not a garage queen and eventually I am going to be looking for another set because the weather is not forgiving. This company makes them but are always out of stock.

Yessir and check out my latest Grid video as I make lenses specifically that style if you want to stay period correct.
Your base model lights are some of the easiest to work with so all you need is lenses.

Good job Mark. Looking forward to getting the upgraded replacements for my OG clears. I wonder if it's possible to add the reflectors back to them. I have to run reflective license plate bolt covers that motorcycles use just to avoid LEO's from pulling me over, but it's not a big deal.
Yup, I can add red anywhere in the design. For example, I do the GRID Hybrids in clear but also have done a custom OEM style red strip at the bottom. Use on our printed housings it also reflects the red ;)

@@ericcifelli9985you can usually just find anyone in China to do these. I did and it cost less than $340 shipped. 3d print is supposed to be affordable 😂😂
